I kinda quit.  I was going to show it to my buddy who is a Battlefield fan, but it was a 5 gig update so we mechwarriored instead.

So I finally got my Atlas DDC.  Recommended fit out from chap I talked to said 2x UAC 5, 2 lrg Laser, ECM.  Also a standard 350 for extra speed. Right now I have 2x lrg laser, LRM 20, AC10, and no ECM (bummer) Anyways, this broke the bank, so I'm gonna be using whatever for a while.  ...

I think it makes it feel more like an FPS more than anything.  Arm lock is a definite sin however.

I don't want to link this game to Steam as it is a bit of a resource hog for me, but I will jump on mumble when playing.

Also, if you are jumping back into the game, they have changed the controls.  I would highly recommend disabling 'arm lock' in options, I kinda like the new throttle setting (throttle decay).
