Best weapons loadout for a Vulture is a pair of size 3 gimballed pulse lasers. With an A rated power distributor and pips into weapons you can keep those guns firing for a long time. If you're looking to get out of a Cobra and into a dedicated killing machine you should just get a Vulture. Good firepower, good combat endurance, and the same shitty jump range as you'd get in an FDL. Hell of a lot cheaper, too.

Sometimes you have to scan first. In my experience, Eagles and Sidewinders tend to explode before the scan is complete. >:D
