Fixtures for the Top 5
Lizards play Skaven next week.
Then in the final week Lizards Play Ogres, whilst the Skaven play the goblins
Orcs get Ogres then the Weak Elves.
Dark Elves get Undead followed by underworld.
Fables! get Weak Elves followed by the Undead.
Rav gets a tough run in for elves where he gets properly out strengthed on all his last 4 games.....

Looks like the Lizards Skaven game next week is probably the decider , with both teams facing stunty teams on the last week.

(THis is all academic as the all seeing Illuminati tell me the Lizards will win.)

In terms of my title charge, I'm fairly confident of getting past the underworld, especially as they're down a troll.

The Undead will be a harder prospect but my plan is to run very much away and score a lot.

Fables! I hope to be able to split the fast and slow players apart.

The orcs bloody terrify me though. Please tell me they're last?

Yes, Rav, that will do very nicely. I hope its as good as yesterday's game.

Basically, my gameplan is to have Dribblesnot take out your entire team. If that fails, there is always "Yellow Tiger's New Improved Extra-Effective Plan B". ... (sounds of interruption).... ahem,... er... apparently that hasn't arrived yet, though I am confidently informed it is "out for delivery" with the "Knight Errant Nye's Errand Running Service". Here's hoping plan B is (a) unnecessary and (b) here tonight, just in case.

Oh Daigaro didn't get his pitch clearance after all, he chickened out and scored instead. Quite a lack of commitment considering I was still fouling with three players left.

I have only suffered that indignity once.

I've only inflicted it once, too, vs lizards.

Ooooooh, fighting talk!

Don't listen to him Idan, it wasn't with Skaven after all.

No, it was with the vastly inferior underworld haha :)

I see my awful recent form as Bowie's divine retribution for giving up on the lads - it is pretty much fated that Idan will win and I will deserve it

DON'T FORSAKE ME BOWIE, I WILL REPENT AS SOON AS REDLION TIRES OF BEING AWESOME

The Bowies are very fond of a game long nap, Red lion, so you may well pull it off...

Post Match Hype (hmmm... probably should've been pre-match... anyway)The Orcs Vs Skaven was basically the biggest Grudging with the biggest history in the league - Me & La used to play Orcs Vs Skaven on TT in our mini-league whilst we were learning to play about 15 years ago... there have been many, many Orcs Vs Skaven matches; but I think this was the highest TV matchup we've ever had.

I did get lucky; La was missing his better StormRat and he spent the match fouling the crap out of me; if the armour breaks had've gone t'other way it could've all been different.

Saying that I the two mistakes I made I got lucky with that La couldn't really punish me for them; my almost third mistake was handing off to Black Orc to score - but Leroy the Legend actually got the ball so that was nice.

Orcs winning the league? No chance. I'm suprised we're third, even more suprised we beat the rats, and the league is now Idan's to lose.

I fully expect NJ to overtake me too; then I'm looking forward to an Imposter Bowie Massacre on the final day to finish a respectable 4th.

Pitch Clearance - I was totally looking forward to it, and was pondering if I should foul or not before scoring on my last turn... then the wonder thrower dodged all over the place to clear out my ball carrier. Saying that; the final rat was left standing by the sidelines... I could've blitzed them off the pitch before trying to pick the ball up... but I was bloody anxious and was thankful I had a reroll left for the pick up... Gerty needed it.

I'm not sure where to post this...

Cort (the guy who maintains a lot of our Rolling Thunder web stuff, including the Mumble server) asked us to try a new address for the Mumble server. So on Sunday please try to connect to:
46.101.235.161(default Mumble port: 64738)

All the permissions and stuff should remain the same.

Rav and Lion, I just logged in to the new server, and it seems to be working. Do you mind trying it out in your game tonight?

The Undead finally get their break and it happens to be made of goblin bones:

http://31.216.48.18/~gandalfgames/bbdb/matchdetail.php?match_id=139

After a humiliating but enjoyable match against the goblin team last week the Undead fly into a furious rage directed at goblins, they also manage to mangle a couple of rats and a troll in the fray. essentially Red lion got unlucky and i got dam lucky. Cant remember too much of the game but may try and watch it again this week ( if i can figure out how) and then write a proper right up. it was a fun game and i dont think there were any particularly nasty injuries for RL just a lot of them.

It was a good game. Has there been a higher scoring match yet this season?
