Tomorrow is fine.

Identity or Spinx - I'm available on this Thursday night if either of you can make it. I won't be able to play on Sunday as I'll be late home from a 1st birthday party.
Re: Season 4 - Matchday 6 - 16th November 2014
I can't make Thursday, but happy to catch up the following week. Plus it will give me so extra time to work out how I'm going to deal with your team.

I'm not letting this go without some sort of resolution & way forward.
To reiterate - especially for ident1ty's benefit who claimed "Do you realise how unsporting you come across complaining about the way that you lost?" - my issues are...
and
I believe what Diagaro did falls way below the standard I have seen in all the other games I have seen against any other player.
No-one, has yet directly agreed with me on this: notj asked for clarification, Rav said something which infers throwing out many of the guidelines RT lives by and has so far ignored my plea for clarification on what he said, and id3nt said something out of anger which imo is best forgotten about.
We've never had to specifically say what is and isn't acceptable behaviour - I'd like to keep it that way but if that's what we need to do to move forward then that's what we need to do. The ogre blitz, to me, is obviously bad form. poor sportsmanship, exploiting a bug, whatever you want to call it - I suspect many agree but don't want to enter the argument/want to be peacemakers. Sorry but I'm not going to be satisfied by people sitting on the fence.
Please - some more discussions and potential resolution?

It's not the losing, or the utterly awful dice rolls that I care about, it's the poor standard of sportsmanship.

We should be competing against each other, not the software.

Re: Season 4 - Matchday 6 - 16th November 2014
Because I wasn't there, I didn't want to get involved, but I'll give my 2 cents as requested.
I think Gandalf is feeling irritated because he has a need for a predictable level of fairness to the league. In a game where a single mistake can cost you the match, and when plenty of times they happen to be coding mistakes, I can see why.
May I suggest that when a glitch happens, and only if requested by the coach most effected by it, the two coaches should take a few seconds to think of ways that the other might compensate. In the Gandalf-Daigaro game, one suggestion could have been to let Daigaro choose an Orc and place him in the same square on his half as the one the treeman got assigned to in Gandlaf's half, for example.
I'm pretty sure there won't be a need for this in most games, but when there is a need, it should be clear that the coach who suffers the glitch should be the one to ask for compensation.
Does that sound reasonable for everyone?
Gandalf, are you ok with what I said, and if so is there anything else you want to address?

I don't think that's practical Idan for various reasons that I'll be happy to expand on when I have the luxury of a proper keyboard.
To save on drama I took this to pm so please don't think that this is being ignored.

No problem chief!

Re: Season 4 - Matchday 6 - 16th November 2014
So the good news is two more elves died. The bad news, for me at least, is that I lost 4-0. (Or should that be 4-2* ?)
I got a bit excited at my very first block resulting in a dead elf, followed by another elf killing its self when it failed to dodge. But then Idanmel out played me at pretty much every turn and certainly made the most of the mistakes that I made (and I made a few). It was a good fun though and Idan definitely deserved to win. The dice were mostly even, although Idan did very well with the Block Dice.
Some highlights to follow later.

Hoh shit! You got wrecked whilst outnumbering the elves

1) The elves are no strangers to being outnumbered and can perform quite well in these situations.
2) I was never really outnumbered. His Ghoul injured himself (badly hurt) on a GFI, trying to bravely run away with the ball back to his TD area + a zombie got sent off for fouling. I also surfed* two of his players, so there was no outnumbering on either side.
* Surfing - The process of pushing a player outside the field where the crowd gives him a proper pounding.
