Sounds like Abom deserves a grudge match for cowardly backing out of a challenge!

GRUDGE! GRUDGE! GRUDGE! GRUDGE!

GRUDGE MATCH FRIENDLY!

A FRIENDLY GRUDGING!

We do like a good grudging round these parts.

As the person with the links closest to the media Percy is happy to hype the crap out of this meaningless friendly to boost revenue and to increase Shroom sales.

A Griendly Frudging!!!

In terms of a ruling - Mid Season Friendlies are uncommon and should be kept that way. I don't expect it to be an issue but I don't want people gaming the league by SPP farming, making sure their injuries are healed by the next league match or anything else I haven't thought of.

If you don't have a game in an off week you can always bring forward a fixture from later on - so in this case you two could play your week 8 match instead of a friendly. NJ and I will be playing our week 7 fixture for example, and Daigoro / La are also playing ahead (right?).

Me and La are hopefully playing ahead, if I'm not out being a drunkard.

I'm with you Rav, best to keep them uncommon, just in this instance it's suited to both teams, so think it wold be good for them. Would also make their proper match later in the season better too as they'd have a GRUDGING PART 2.

But yes, no using for gamesmanship purposes; I'd suggest that unless you're a new team and coach that didn't get any preseason friendlies then it should be very frowned upon.

I think last season we did have a few friendlies during the season, but they were with our new (or old?!) teams rather than the ones who were playing in that season.

This week we have two league matches to play

The Azorgh Rock-Knockers are looking to retake the initiative following their defeat last week when they play E.L.O..

The Cheeseosophers will be playing the Isa Black Stars in a top of the table clash. Two teams of skilled players going hard for a win, or a kill, this is why we love the sport!

The 13th Doomwheel and Gojira's Army will be exhibiting themselves.
