I wasn't. More I was getting at, for example, I think that especially in match making beginners may come up against a minmaxed Chaos team with 2 killers who can totally mangle their team, and so they think, aha, I want some of that - but if say you are playing wood elves and kill half of them, they can still outscore you.

Too busy to really explain what I mean, anyway.

Other teams can get killers too... I think it has a lot to do with Chao's reputation as being 'Super Twok' - so people play them expecting to do well but then don't, because you can't straight away (unless everyone starts on a level playing field...)

And yes, they aren't any good at all at scoring to start with are they?

The other tables show them as lower mid table, generally. There's been various explanations for this, such as beginners see the potential for violence, or have been on the receiving end of ClawPOMB and so pick Chaos, but don't actually have many BB skills or understand the game much.

Also the ClawPOMB teams don't always play to win, they're happy to lose if they do enough hurting.

Also, Orc is spelt with a C. I'm quite passionate about that.

And that was the end of Percy's Trollcast.

Discussion point - how are Norse and Amazons different? Should they be played differently?

I'd say they are like Humans with a 'leg up' to start and a bit of variety; but without Gandalf-style jammy level ups then both just can't cut the mustard comparatively as they develop.

Sorry but this is really unfair....
Doubles rolled (expected 1 in 6)
Everglade Wanderers = 2 in 35
Team Shrek = 2 in 19
It's A Sign! = 1 in 12

The latter 2 have rolled more +Ag's than expected but that's the only way I could be described as having jammy level ups (would gladly trade my AG4 ogre for another ogre with block). In all other aspects I've been unlucky (eg, my only +ST ever was on a -ST snotling).

Haven't you had a +ST black orc, and a troll who rolled 2 doubles for his first 2 rolls in the past?! I got nothing on those.

Rav's put a suggestion forwards for having "level-up luck" showing in BBDB. I expect to see him & myself in the bottom half.

la's post kind of got in the way of mine.

The lack of the 's' in http://percytrollcast.blogspot.co.uk/ is rather annoying.

It's because the email address for sending things like adverts to is percy.trollcast@gmail.com. not that anyone does.

Nobody actually looks at the blog anyway do they? I just subscribe to the RSS feed.
