Oh goodness – yes, I forgot to add to the end of my post that, really, nobody cares and you should just enjoy the free possible progression.

You didn’t do it on purpose Abom!

I add my voice to the masses! Don't worry about it Abom, it's part of the flawed product that we all have to put up with :)

But if you win the league, now we know why.

Yeah. Not important in scheme of things - just a game etc.

Just keep the points think of them as a lucky windfall and play one ;-)

(be a bit different if you did it deliberately of course, but you weren't to know the best way to deal with Cyanide's shoddy programming)

Thanks for the words of support of shady SPP! If I decide to keep the lineman, I'll just view it as Nuffle smiling on me.

Abomination wrote:The only issue we might have is if we can't finish the game before I play Red Lion on Sunday. Cos this'll mean I'll have to level up my guys, so when we replay I'll have more skills than normal.

We could always have Gandalf v. Red Lion on Sunday and swapping my rest day with Gandalf's if this is a solid concern.

It's looking more and more likely moose and I won't be able to finish our game before Sunday. What do you all think? Swapping Gandalf's rest day with mine might work from what I saw of the schedule (provided all parties and the Comish are okay with it). Or should we just stick to the schedule for simplicity?

I'm personally indifferent. On the one hand, I really wanna play some BB and my anti-Lion playbook is ready! On the other, the more games I play, the more impure the continuation with moose will be. And it buys me more time to develop tackle vs the zons... Actually, I think I'm biased more towards playing. Still, the idea has merit! Delay, or play on? Hm

From my point of view play on. The differences won't be that huge.

I've gotten used to the idea of 2 weeks off. :) We've deviated a fair way from the schedule as it is, what's one more anomaly between friends? :)

Next weekend is catchup week - I'm expecting Moose & Rav to feature? Can those fixtures be arranged?

We can just get ID to run his algorithms again!

He'd probably like that?

I'm as free as I'm going to get every weekend, just tell me who I'm playing and I'll do it.

Delfs scraped a 1-1 draw, but could easily have been a win for the halfings,

Image
Appalling block dice for the delfs (8 / 94 dice were defender down, and 22 were Defender Stumbles which are useless against flings) meant they could never really get the ball free enough to score whilst the impressive three treeman wall made space for the halflings

Bigby Wolf suffers career ending injury, more details as we get them...

Next up, a representative from the Apothecary Survival Society will be joining us to debate "Regeneration, does it actually work?" Members of the A.S.S. have been campaigning to make Apothecaries a mandatory addition to every team, and the infamous Bigby Wolf's injury is likely to to bring this debate into the lime-light.

So, next week is catch up week. The following matches are outstanding:

A Fistful of Boomstick vs Bad For Thy Elf
A Fistful of Boomstick vs The 13th Doomwheel

A Fistful of Boomstick vs Hambridge Archers

Hambridge Archers vs The Mighty Undercheesers
Hambridge Archers vs The Brave Harts

The Orkly ducklingz vs The Mighty Undercheesers

I suggest that Moose and Rav don't play each other this week. Moose and Abom might catch up mid week, so Moose vs notjarvis on Sunday?

Rav should maybe play Red Lion, and Daigaro vs la provided they don't catch up mid week?

And if anyone is free I am up or a friendly next week.

Preference for Nurgle but Ogres are available if desired (or if I'm playing Goblins, as Ogre v Goblin matches are always way too much fun).

Appalling block dice for the delfs (8 / 94 dice were defender down, and 22 were Defender Stumbles which are useless against flings) meant they could never really get the ball free enough to score whilst the impressive three treeman wall made space for the halflings

Yeah this was part of the basis for my prediction of a draw. Getting low numbers of defender down can happen (more common than getting a similar % of downs plus stumbles), and being a new team you had no tackle. Stunty teams actually have half a chance against teams lacking block/tackle.
