Oh and NJ... You should've known them Black Orcs are proper soft, the Ducklingz got through about 4 of the pansies after breaking their nails, messing up their makeup, etc.
Not Leroy though, he's the only Black Orc that PirlOrc approved of. If you can call it approval... more like 'didn't think was a massively incompetent nitwit'.

I should be about at some point after teatime. Gandalf usually gets there first though!

Re: our game,
You had 65% successful blocks to my 44% on the same number of average dice rolled per block. This made quite a difference (caused by possibly some dice luck but definitely your blodging skills, as I highlighted in the prediction thread). Ultimately looking at the individual dice rolls doesn't tell you too much when it comes to block dice, eg I had a 3d block on you once and rolled 3 defender downs.
The second half was funny in that you managed to get the ball about 7 squares downfield over the course of 5 turns without it being carried a single square. It was like an inept scrum rolling forward, trying to pick it up but failing, but the ball bouncing forwards regardless.
Yes I shouldn't have done the second GFI at the end in retrospect. That's the pressure of the situation. Overall I felt you played better, the swing in dice luck played a large chance in giving me a chance of scoring. I think dice-wise you had the better of the first 4-5 turns, then I did after that. I'm amazed I managed to make you need 2GFI on turn 8 to score, the amount of GFI's, dodges etc. I pulled off was quite unexpected.
About upgrades, I've never had a +ST either! Also I've had about 4 doubles in 40 attempts, and never rolled a double 5. Took about 30 rolls to get a +AG on my wood elf team.

To be fair thinking about it last season i did pretty well on skill ups for my skinks. the 3 +mv rolls and the doubles for the other two major skinks was pretty damn useful.
Many a team were surprised when my skinks with wrestle /block chased down the ball carrier.
Still would be nice to have a 4 AG player for once in my life.....

Sadly Ag 4 teams tend not to have St 4 and we all know that you love your St 4 nj

Re: RT BBL S6 - Week 1 21st June 2015
There's always the vampires....
Actually I tell a lie, I did get a +ST roll once! It was on a snotling who already had an injury that gave him -1 ST
Aww man poor Rav, the occasional +ag is a very nice thing to have, especially on low AG teams like Khemri or ogres. You've made me feel a bit better about my rotten luck now

Straight Outta Isa... first stop seems to be a team of big 'orrible lizards under the command of an even bigger lizard... Just how drunk were the Black Stars...?

Not that drunk apparently. While Gojira was fathoming how to set his players up and starting to think about who to tell to go fetch the ball, Harold (lead guitarist & Chief VB taster in the immensely popular 'Shittattoo https://soundcloud.com/shittattoo/05-rear-view-mirror) started life on the Blood Bowl pitch like real life and punched the first thing he saw, Ko'ing a skink and clearing a path for Bush (dragged up by death adders and 'roos out Bush and has never worn a pair of shoes in his life) to nip in and try to catch the ball. He failed, but it didnt matter as Gojira dared one of his minions to break his own ribs punching Nil Desperandum the Ogre (and copper mine) straight off the bat... Bush got a 2nd chance to collect the ball, and this time he was close enough to hop in and score in turn 2.
Gojira then shut up shop for the rest of the half, ordering his minions into cage 101, in between rolling a fair amount of skulls. The Isa lads applied some soild strip mining techniques to thin out the lizards numbers, but just as it looked to be 1-0 for half time a slippery little bugger sprinted free and wanged it so hard another slippery little bugger actually caught it right in the End Zone ("OOOOH that's gotta hurt!!! That's what she said!! etc...). 1-1 at half time.
2nd half saw Gojira struggle to convince enough of his minions to stay on the pitch, let alone get the ball. The convicts, enjoying their new found freedom, saw the pre-season training pay off, working a few plays like filthy footy league players and blitzing up the pitch to score a couple more TDs.
Gojira almost rustled up a repeat attempt of the first half TD, but this time the skink dropped the ball before he could even think about where he'd wang it.
For Mooses first game, nuffle weren't half an evil git. BBM may say otherwise, but nothing seemed to be going Moose's way, and I was clearing lizards left right and centre. If you can get through a game like that Moose and still say you had fun then trust me, it will get loads better.
Amazons next, and I don't even have any Tackle to get out. Wah.

It Rained! Isa boys don't like the rain!

The match kinda felt like a non event... The Isa boys were far too gentlemanly to hurt any ladies, and the ladies were gracious enough to forget how to dodge.
Amazon's receive, start to build, then trip over their own sandals, giving the Isa lads a chance to ask nicely for the ball, trot in and trot up the pitch. The Amazons were far too busy painting their nails to bother trying to tackle him, and it was 1-0 at half time.
There's not much to write about in the 2nd half, because not much happened. Percy didn't mind though as it meant the crowd were more interested in purchasing mushrooms.
A lady broke a nail slapping Nil Desperandum, and couldn't take the same and ran off to the doctor to kill herself, then the doctor made sure she definitely died.

Re: RT BBL S6 - Week 1 21st June 2015
So Abom's first game in the RT BBL. Chaos Dwarves is not an ideal match-up for Skaven and in the end it showed. The game opening with me deciding to kick. Abom collected the ball and ran straight through my poorly positioned defense line. I forgot about the diagonals.
Never mind, I was banking on him scoring early to allow me to 2-1 grind, even against the wizard. Abom kicked off having stacked his defense on my right. The ball landed forward on my left I eventually picked it up and started pushing up the left whilst my front line rotated to box in the Skaven as best I could. I finally broke through even with occasional gutter runner breakouts. I was stalling and Abom got tacklezones to the ball carrier forcing my to chain push the ball over the line. 1-1
The half ended with a 1 turn touchdown attempt that went wrong when a Hobgoblin fell over instead of staying on his feet.
In the second half the Skaven kicked to me. The ball landed deep in my half. I picked up and passed it (!) and trundled up the pitch. A skaven blitzed through and the ball went loose. A scrum formed around the ball but I was KOing about 1 rat a turn and the attrition was making life easier and easier. Eventually I got the ball out and went off up the pitch. to stall out until the end. The wizard fired a lightening bolt at my Hobgoblin but there were too few rats left to make a serious attempt to get it free.
In the last turn I was forced to pick up in the endzone and I decided to win the game rather than risk it with a Bull Centaur pickup so a Hobgoblin got the SPPs. Abnom tried another 1TTD but didn't have enough rats to make a go of it.
The dice gently favoured the Dwarves and Abom got a lot of skulls making his blocking game less effective than it would have been. It was a good game and I killed a skaven thrower so that's nice. The first half was hard work but the second really went my way as the pitch started to empty. These rats are no pushovers but they do stay down if you hit them hard enough.

Re: RT BBL S6 - Week 1 21st June 2015
Brief match report.
The vampires received, got blitzed, but anyway steadily made their way down the right, losing a thrall per turn as they did so, and then Pythagoras scored and levelled up in turn 4 - achieving more in 3 matches than Albert Camusbert ever did in a season.
The vampires kicked off, blitzed, and eventually I think Archimedes ran off with the ball, tripped over a bit, but then got up, picked the ball up from under Morg's nose and made it 2-0.
Then the second half just was a bit of a mess, with the vampires kicking off, getting Perfect Defence, and eventually getting the ball, and Archimedes scored again.
Then the vampires kicked, blitzed, and managed to catch the ball, and ran away with it, passing around a bit to please the more elfy inclined fans (and of course feeling dirty for doing so).
This was a game in which experience showed, is the summary. Moose had +15 on the 1d6 compared to me, nothing particularly went wrong for either of us except the number of players I lost, and every kicker won the kick off results.
Re: RT BBL S6 - Week 1 21st June 2015
The Chaos Derby!

With 90k the choice was an extra rotter or a babe, I took the latter, who did nothing.
I won the kick-off and received the ball. In what was to become a pattern, I hit lots of people and they fell over - even injuring one of his better players on the first turn. I picked the ball up just fine and rolled on down the field. More Khorne players got hurt, and I even KO'ed the Bloodthirster on turn 3 but the apothecary was used and he was stunned instead. The TD looked ever more likely. I could've managed it in turn 7 but stalled until turn 8, which nearly cost me but I got it over the line. The Khorne's turn of free bashing didn't go so well.
The second half started and I kicked the ball straight into their endzone. Fortunately for the Demons they picked it up first time. The bloodthirster went a-blitzing again and picked up I think 2 injuries this half. Meanwhile the Nurgle's block luck continued and I injured a couple more though at least one wasn't on my turn. A rotter got killed, but I killed a Khrone player (who had block!) as revenge, who now joins my team thanks to Nurgle's Rot. Take note fellow managers - we will not tolerate you killing our players! >:D
Anyhow, I started putting some pressure on the ball but id3nt had space down one flank which I had some trouble covering, but with some good rolls I managed to get a 2D block on his ball carrier and promptly KO'ed him. With yet more good rolls I managed to pass the ball (inaccurate pass but caught it anyway) and looked like I might score again, but I ran out of time on T15 and thus had no chance to score on T16. The battered Khorne lineup ended with 2 or 3 players standing.
****************************************
It felt like I had a lot of luck. The post-game stats didn't obviously show this but I ended both halves with re-rolls left, injured a player on T1, and had an insanely high block success rate (62%) given I had only 2 block skills on my team. id3's rate of 45% is a lot closer to the expected result. Having a 12th player helped too. In fact the only D6's I failed were 2 dodges (re-rolled successfully), 2 failed KO's (but I had 11 players at every start), 3 really stupids (hey ho) and 3 passes which were just SPP attempted. So my -4.83 D6 chance wasn't really representative.
Post game I rolled a 6 and id3nt rolled a 1 (talk about adding insult to injury...). No level-ups for me but I'm going to get a lot soon hopefully, 7 players between 2 and 5 XP.

2 games, 2 wins and I'm still bloody second in the league? And to add insult to injury I'm sitting out this week.
The matches that will be happening are...
A musical mismatch of mayhem - Club 27 vs E.L.O..
A super strength showdown - It's A Sign vs Gojira's Army.
A clash of cheese and changing fortunes? - Cheeseosophers vs Brave Harts.
An alliterative antagonism of apocalyptic aggression - Isa Black Stars vs 13th Doomwheel.
