Gosh. The dwarves first two opponents are inexperienced coaches with the teams most prone to the famous Dwarf tackle.

One might think their Coach is the commissioner or something

Well spotted Inspector NJ, I believe all that time spent with the Saur'd wasn't wasted.

Like I said last game, better that they play me before mass mighty blow and guard. And I suspect that Mr Daigoro doesn't want to poke too hard into who gets novice coaches on their first games.

And Red Lion is no newbie, those Amazons are going to do well I reckon.

I've set up a spreadsheet in excel to set up these leagues. I put the names in one sheet and then have tabs for the various numbers of coaches. I randomise the coaches and then check for unavailable clashes and swap round as needed.

I know you would be scrupulously fair really. Was entirely tongue in cheek.

Yeah boss, we wuz winding you up :)

I think the draw worked out spiffingly. For one brief moment the lads can wallow in the glory of first place.

And then we can get back to the relegation battle we're used to

No complaints from Red Lion: the Amazons are first and third in the most-punching-bagged list and on good course for the cup!

Yeah, I know but when I saw how it panned out I knew someone'd pick me up on it :) honestly though Abom is an unknown quantity so it'll be exciting to play him!

How about I keep track of correct winners for the season? :)

Week 1 standings
3 = la, rav
2 = gandalf (would be top if I'd made that turn 15 td!)
1 = notjarvis (taking his first answer of "dwarves" rather than his waffle in which he predicted both teams to win)
0 = dai/Percy (not helped by not predicting a result for his game)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My week 2 predictions...

Azorgh Rock-Knockers vs 13th Doomwheel - Abom is generally pretty good at games but dwarves are a tough match-up. Draw.
Club 27 vs It’s a Sign - I have a record of 1 draw and 3 defeats, and have no idea how to play vs Khorne. Plus they got all manner of awesome level-ups after their last match. I'll be optimistic and go for a draw.
Gojira vs Cheeseosophers - Surely the Vampires luck must turn after last week? A win for them.
Brave Hearts vs Isa Black Stars (Humans) – lack of tackle to be the downfall of the humans - win for RL3.

Yes! Percy got Nil Points! A clean sheet!

He's very happy with that.

Now he's got the P.E.R.V. System up and running there'll be no stopping him!!

Right, here we go. The Lion roars and says:

ELO vs Rock Knockers - Given the performance of the Chorfs last week, the now-mighty centaurs and the trouble with the black orcs, 2-1 to the Rock Knockers.

Club 27 vs It’s a Sign - The Sign's lack of block made for some close friendlies with the Amazons... but the Khorne are an unknown force to me. Hmmm... 2-1 to the Club?

Gojira vs Cheeseosophers - La to Vamp Moose? No, 2-1 to the shadowless ones.

Brave Harts vs Isa Black Stars - Well, I reckon the Harts are in with a chance here, but the Stars may well score. Not much experience against a human team! 2-1 Harts?

Oh dear, I've put 2-1 for everything. Okay then, back my own side - 2-0 to the Harts!

Oi

Couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge the Black Stars match?

You just got yourself a grudging.

Oh.

Sorry NJ, look what happens when you leave Percy in charge while I was off coaching.

He's a trouble maker is that Troll.

Sorry NJ. Consider the Grudging on hold.

For now.
