Oi, I came second on goal difference in the first season and then won my division in the second before having a horrendous game against Spinx in the play-offs. Didn't see the best of them indeed...

They are a fun team. I recommend a 3 blitzer, 1 Witch Elf build to start (runner is optional) over the 4 blitzer variant. The Witch is just more fun if something of a liability. You've got enough skills to mix it with the St 3 teams and you can use your agility to keep away from the bigger slower stronger guys. And Av 8 is reasonably forgiving.

It was that last diabolical game against the Brawlers that soured the team really. Couldn't roll more than a 1 for a substantial number of turns.

I think I ought to go for either pure dash or stunty. Currently my thinking is leaning towards Pro-Elf or Halfling (partly for podcast research purposes ).

(P.S. Those 3 attempts to roll 3+ and pretty much win the game still haunt me from the last final. Not entirely sure I want to face Rav again in another final)

So.... are we starting a week Sunday, straight after the cup - ie 4th October? If we get a chivvy on we should be done with the league before Christmas, but probably not the cup. Do we need people to suggest days they can't do?

Also can we formally implement a rule change I suggested last season - that the league winners automatically qualify for the cup? Reasoning being it's a bit harsh to be denied the chance for the double. No-one objected it when I suggested it originally but feel free to object now.

I support that rule change. It is indeed harsh to deny a chance of glory.

I would like to be done by Christmas as it involves inlaws and not playing. Until then I think I am free.

My personal vote would be for Halfling... as I think they are the only race no-one has played so far. But you need to be willing to take the losses on the chin. But maybe after 2 cup wins in a row maybe you won't mind losing for a bit...?

Percy doesn't think there's anything stopping him playing any weekends up until Jeebus' Birthday, but if anything did come up he'd hopefully let y'all know in plenty of time. Free to start whenever. Need to decide on a team; Any thoughts on what you want to play NJ? I'd just as happily play the 'Mans again as well as the Ducklingz, but you called Orcs so you can pick dude

I'll email Temmop tomorrow; La is also chasing someone he works with, and I'm trying to convince another. I suspect the answer to all three will be a no, but it can't help to try.

Oh, and I also have no objection to the rule change - it's very unlikely that it'd apply to me anyway.
