Yeah, that's for the best. Sorry I can't be more concrete but at least it's a good excuse :)

No problem.

Will struggle to play midweek at the minute though.

Too much going on with Kids and various other stuff, can only really play on sundays. May have to leave it until a catch up week or when one of us were supposed to play ravs friend

Raveen wrote:Right, apologies all but Matjeffes had decided not to take part in the league add stuff keeps coming up on a Sunday. He's going to play pick up games on weeks he can make if that's OK. If we can get him hooked there's always season 8.

No worries. This is easy to sort out because of the way the scheduling algorithm works and the fact that he just happened to be first in the list. I've changed his matches to the break week.

Demoralising draw for "Mighty" Undercheesers sees coach throw gilet; Badly Hurt a goblin

I don't have the energy for a decent match report tonight, not sure about tomorrow, sorry.

Orkly Ducklingz fail to break armour and PirlOrc suffers potentially career ending injury.
Bigby neutralizes Gertrude, the Ducklingz biggest threat for the entire first half and despite a shaky moment where it looked like Bufkin was going to need buffing out of the playing field, the Fables stall to score on their turn 8.

The second half goes a bit better for Percy and his team. They bash down the center of the field, and manage to injure off a couple of Fables but it's not enough. The wolves concentrate on keeping Gertrude and Harriet busy, whilst the zombies and flesh golems hold up the black orc and troll cage in the middle. Bigby manages a stunning blitz on PirlOrc in which he cruelly stamps on his ankle, before leaping out of the cage to pick up the scattered ball. It just a matter of loping away up the pitch to secure a 2-0 victory.

The dice were charmed for the Fables D6, with a +20 vs the Ducklingz 0.32. The 2D6 are where it really fell apart for Daigaro though, as only 13 of the 53 that he rolled were 8+. Had the Fables been a AV 7 team they would have been torn to shreds: Daigaro rolled 24 7+ 2D6. Rolling an even amount of pushes against a team with two stand firm players didn't help either, but other than that the block dice were reasonably unremarkable.

Skaven beat Wood Elves 2-1 in a completely mental game. GFI dice used by both players blessed by Raveen (combined 22 successes out of 33 attempts). 270 yards gained in total - now that's entertainment!

I'll leave the proper match report for the victor to write....

BTW thanks for uploading to BBDB. I've fixed the issues people were having earlier. Not helped by me doing dev all week and leaving some files in an unfinished state. It's all sorted now though. The recent uploads have also revealed a couple more bugs, which I am working on fixing. Thanks all!

Wow. 7 games played in total and only one 100% record! I'll see what I can do about that record next week (baby permitting). Looks like an open league this season, no-one's going to run away with it...

Surprised the Undercheesers and the Wanderers have both dropped points early to be honest. I was kindof expecting a rerun of S4 where you two ran away with it....

No, the Undercheesers are not the force they once were / I've not levelled them up as well as I could have. Or I've forgotten how to play them. I'm not sure yet which. Either way, I'm not at all surprised - the cheesethrill is gone :(

I was hoping for something different. I was a bit annoyed with how S6 panned out with the same 2 managers being top 2 as S4. My new Nurgle team certainly weren't supposed to be that high. So I certainly don't want the same again in S7. I want to see the title/runners-up spot shared out a bit more!

Chin up la, it's not over yet and they're not exactly a top-tier race in the first place, unlike the Woodies who *should* be near the top.

Gandalf's right, it's could be worse. You could be a filthy elf coach.

You're right Gandalf that it's not over yet and they're not top tier anyway, but with their last cup match and two friendlies they're W0 D3 L2. Hmm.
