I think you need the warriors nj. The mino is too unreliable and strength is your main weapon. Also you want to get your key players skilling up early.

Don't scrimp on the rerolls though, that lack of skills hurts.

Hmm I like the mino. As long as you can keep him in the thick of the action he's more useful than not.

You are probably right though (and loner can be a PITA).

Probably more sensible to go with a couple of warriors instead of the mino. 4 warriors are too many to have enough worthwhile re-rolls.

Looking around I've seen people recommending just going 11 Beastmen, so you can up the re-rolls and have some fan factor, but that pretty much guarantees very weak early games

4xCW, 7xBeastman, 3x reroll.

Anything else is hard work. You can swap 2 or 3 warriors for the Minotaur but i think that would be risky at the best of times and not needed based on the makeup of this league.

Can we have an index thread for this listing participants and their teams (where that's been picked).

Might it be worth giving ltSpinx mod access for this sub forum?

To save me having to log in, what race did you pick Idan? It sounds a bit undeady but then again it could be anything (that's the beauty of BB, the silliness!).

I'd really, really love to play in this, but I fear I'm getting swamped between various reponsibilities at the moment.  :-[

I think I need to bow out now rather than cause delays and problems later on. Damn...

New thread started for the competition proper. Organization can continue in this thread.

If Adept is out that leaves us with 7, so we either need a new person, or someone to drop out.

Are you sure we can't convince you to stay in Adept? 2 mins a half means games won't take that long, and I don't anticipate this being over within a month.

To be honest a very loose schedule would suit me anyway. Something like fortnightly games would be fine by me. Although if we manage more regular games that'd be good too.

I don't want to mess this up for anybody. If you want to put up with my flakey schedule, then I'd love to play. What sort of schedule are you guys planning on. Gandy and Rav seem to not be on the same page as of yet.

I don't think Rav & I contradicted each other. I said "more than a month" he said "something like fortnightly" which would imply 8 weeks to play the 5 rounds of matches.

I think it's a free schedule so we can play whenever we want.

BTW the league is set up at 4 mins a turn, do we want this or do we want 2 mins instead?

Awesome! :D Make up a backstory about them & post it in the Season 1 thread if you can :)

I've wimped out and gone for the Wood Elves. I'll enter them sometime this week, when I have time to sit down and make names for them all.
