I'm sorry people, I just can't guarantee that I'll have the time to play in this league.

Re: Reviving the league
If Mord is out than we are 7. There's no way to set up a cup with 7 teams.
So that leaves us with 2 options.
1. Going for an open league, but we decide in advance that everyone plays everyone else only once. (everyone plays 6 games)
2. Kicking Adept out and playing a cup with 6 teams and playoffs of 4 teams. (5 games min, 7 games max)
I'd rather go for the first option.

Re: Reviving the league
We can do a scheduled league instead. Or set up an open league and present a schedule in this forum.
Going forward if we wanted to there's a web interface and league manager called OBBLM. This seems to allow multiple forms of play (so Gandy, nj and I could meet up for tabletop games and have them count, if we got all the necessary gubbins together). The online play is handled via a peer to peer connection so we could have special rules or start with higher team values if we wanted (1.1 mil + 6 normal skills is a standard tournament build and could be a good way to jump start a team).

Re: Reviving the league
How about we do all the games together on Sundays at 20:00 GMT?
That way we can all log into mumble together and moan about how lucky the other team is, and if someone can't play on a given Sunday, he can schedule the game later on.
We could do it every other Sunday if it suits you more... I just think it will be really fun to play all the games simultaneously.

Re: Reviving the league
So how about we start the league on 2/2? Should give people enough time to set up their teams.

Re: Reviving the league
3rd option - we stick with 8 teams, but the 8th team will forfeit every game. Would only work if we were all in one group of 8 though.
3 of us have teams in now, I've put it in the season 1 thread. I will post there when I've come up with something amusing to say about my team.

I have to agree. I've been trying to make the timing work, but at the moment I fear it's nearly impossible.
I could probably make the time, but it would add to my stress, not be recreational.
Sorry guys. Drop the league to six, and have a great time.

Re: Reviving the league
We should.
On other news, our league shrinked (why is firefox telling me I spell this this work wrong?) to 5. Start with a 1 round league, and if all goes well do a 2nd round?

Re: Reviving the league
I thought we had 6? Are we missing WyldKarde? If so, can someone summon him?
As for format - one group of 6, play each other once sounds fine to me. Having 2 groups of 3 would feel a bit lame, would always mean people would sit out and would only give you 2 people to play against.

Also, I might be totally confusing things... If that's the case, I agree with Gandalf. :-)
