It was sorely tempting to go expensive again, particularly after the Goblin Looney got picked, but I've decided to restrain myself and go for the Goblin Renegade from the Chaos Pact team. If nothing else he's good for TTM desperation plays and you never know, he might sprout wings in mid-air!

Continuing the theme of 'lets pick goblins because I'm not quite sure what other means' I'll take a Goblin Fanatic because they are jolly good fun and Nathaniel cruelly got to the looney before me.

I think I will go for cheapness and versatility and cannon fodderness, and pick the Skaven Renegade from Chaos Pact, if I may. Mostly because I don’t see what else to pick, I’m not keen on the Dark Elf assassin, it’s kind of probably expensive anyway. Rostering a wizard would be nice though. I probably would have gone for the bombardier if he hadn’t been taken.


AND! It’s what I’ve been waiting for – my pick of lineman is the Underworld Goblin! He only needs a normal roll to become the single best player in the whole of bloodbowl!

I'll take another Chaos Pact player then, the Marauder. Nothing special to start with but all the potential in the world and good value too.

I had a look, and my two picks that were in the LRB where taken by la and Daigaro. Thinking outside the LRB, I'm going to take the Khorne Pit Fighter.

Oh go on then. I'll keep it really cheap, to save on costs and take a Goblin team Goblin.

As a big Guy. I'll take a Treeman From The halfling Team.

So with 8 players La is keeping it cheap with a total cost of 530,000 and Id3's the big spender with 640,000. Most of the rest of us are not far behind Id3 though.

I'm going to take the Wood Elf Treeman then. I had another player in mind, but it was more expensive and I already have too many players to blitz with. Now I need a road block and Treemen are pretty effective at that.

As much as I want to keep costs down I can't deny the killer potential of the Snow Troll.
