Wife's out for a meal so i'll probably be online about 9:30 PM or so (UK time) if anyone fancies a game.

I've really enjoyed BB, but I think the matches run too long. I suppose we put in too much thinking time / move 

Yeah, I think it works best as a board game with plenty of interaction between the players. Also it'd be ideal to be able to save a MP game at half time.

We could I guess try 3 or 2 minute turns and see how well that plays?

The half time save would be a nice feature. Much easier to find 15 - 20 min to play half a match in.

We really could re-start the league with 2 min rules. I'd be game.

I think the options are 4 mins, 2 mins or 40 seconds. I'll have a look sometime soon. Not today though as it's my "no PC games" day. Good to have one every week.

I know I was guilty of using up the full 4 minutes quite often. Perhaps 2 minute turns will increase the tension/excitement a bit too.

Can we get the current teams out of the league, and use them in a new 2 min league, or do we need to start over?

I don't know if we can edit the current league. I don't think you can port teams between leagues.

Having logged on, I can confirm that I was correct. 

I have now successfully altered the league rules for 2 minute turns.

I could also, if people wanted, let people decide which of the 3 options they wanted at game time. I don't know if that would lead to more trouble than it's worth though. Perhaps a seperate 40 second league could be an idea.

About porting teams - although I think it's irrelevant now, it might be possible. There is an option for "new teams only" when setting league rules so presumably you can import teams from somewhere.
