Wyld and I played in the old RT league. His Chaos murderers vs my Wood Elves.

After we started the game I realized it was a team I set up before I knew anything about the game, and so never bought any rerolls for them while his chaos team had 5. Fortunately, his team was 590 team value up, so I bought the Halfling's Chef, which game me a total of 5 rerolls in the game, and a treeman.

First Half
First turn I got to receive and on the first block I knocked out his Minotaur, which would only come back for the last turn of the match. I tried cowering in the back while his players came blitzing on my thrower. He was cornering me down really well, and so I had to go for a crazy move... I threw the ball to a line man, which handed it off to a catcher, which dodged 3 times and managed two go for its! A turn or so later I scored.

The brave elves thought it was a no contact sport, so they tried keeping their distance from the Chaosers... And miraculously the first half ended with only 1 touchdown.

Second Half
Wyld received the ball, and started stomping. He advanced threw the right side, while the elves still tried to avoid contact. Twice a beastman ran all the way to the TD line to wait for a pass that never came. Twice the elves pushed a beastman behind their own TD line. But in the end a wise beastman had enough, and instead of waiting for a pass, took the ball and ran to the TD. 1-1.

The elves received and after on the second move a thrower handed the ball off to a catcher who found an opening and ran with the ball 11 squares (8+3 go for its). The chaos team started running back, with one guy using 1 go for it to get next to the catcher and another beastman using 2 go for it's to for blitzing. Luckily the Catcher dodged away from the blitz, and than dodged twice to the TD. 2-1.

With only 1 moves left each, we both ended our turns and shook hands over the internet.

Thanks Wyld!  :)

I enjoyed the read, thanks.

Anyone up for a "pre-season friendly" tomorrow at SG time?

I believe what we have learned from His Spikynesses experience is don't mess with MrChaos ;)
Disclaimer: I have commited to watching every episode of Doctor Who starting at the beginning. Please feel free to ccomment alongmy journey but please no spoilers of any kind and htis includes discussions of anything forward of where I am at that time. No writer X vs writer Z comparisons, no vague references to things to come, no wink nudge nudges even please. The request is if you are in doubt about if I have seen it yet than do not mention it please. Spoliers are really spolers for me and I hate to know what is about to happen. I will faithfully update where in the series I am and the goal is to watch the entire series before the New Year. *gulp* Oh boy About twenty hours a week is what a quick look online is telling me and quite alot of the dear Doctor no matter how much I may come to love the series. Man I hope I end up liking the darn thing... oh boy

If I manage to assemble my IKEA Sofa-bed by than, I'm all for it.

Although I'm kinda pissed at Blood Bowl right now. I managed to knock out 1 player in 3 games, 2 of them against teams with AV7, while every game about 5 of my AV8 players are either injured or KO'd.

I lost my Rat Ogre and lv5 2nd highest scoring gutter runner in 1 SP match. Took soooo many games until I could afford to "replace" them both. :(
