Ok, I'm not sure if any of you have come across this yet and I don't know if we want to have an opinion on it but I thought it was worth bringing it up.
Stalling is running down the clock when you are in control of the ball by sitting on the edge of the end zone but not scoring. You do this to ensure that the other side doesn't have enough time to score back on you when they receive the ball. Obviously it's more effective against some teams than others - it can cripple a Dwarf team whereas Skaven will just one turn score against you. It's commonly used by strong bash teams (Orcs, Chaos, Dwarves) against the dash teams (Elves and the such like). The Orcs choose to kick and let the elves score in a turn or two. The Orcs then recieve and grind down the pitch and score on turn 8. The Orcs then receive again for the second half and grind down and score on turn 16.
This, so called 2:1 grind, is a legitimate tactic and if we were being ultra competative I would say that it's fair game. Given that we're a bit more friendly than that and that being stalled against is a bit boring I wondered if we would consider ruling on it? Like I say, I have no preference either way but if you feel strongly now's a good time to have the conversation.

I don't want us to be ultra-competitive, but there would seem to be some gray areas here.
I don't think I'd ever set up as Rav describes from the start of a game, but if it's say turn 12-13, I'm drawing and I can score, I'd probably be inclined to drag it out a bit. Would this be OK?
Another scenario I recall is playing Wyld, who had a bashier team. I couldn't get the ball of him and he stalled somewhat in order to bash my guys around a bit. I don't think he was "2:1 grinding". I have no particular complaint about that either, bashing people up is part of the game.
