If we are likely to continue the RT Cup in some form or other after Season 1 is finished can I propose some rules changes/additions.

The structure of each season will be determined by the commissioner. For small groups a single league is played, for bigger groups the play is split into divisons with a playoff competition at the end.

Teams:

So long as it is possible there should be no two teams of the same race (in the same division?). Races are selected on a first come first serve basis, but people should be nice

When a team wins the RT Cup it should take at least a season off to tour the Old World Blood Bowl Tournaments. The Coach of that team must start a new team for thenext season but then have the option to bring back the old team after that.

As Blood Bowl was not designed for perpetual play, teams should be retired after 4(? More or less?) seasons.

Well I'm definitely up for season 2. Hopefully with a few more players. It's fun when there are 2 or more games happening at the same time.

What's the thinking here? Just to keep some variety/avoid a dominant player/team crushing all? What if the RT Cup is tied?

Part of the fun is promoting your players and seeing your team grow. If the seasons only have 4 games, then 4 seasons seems a bit short. How about a more dynamic rule - "at the end of the season in which the team reaches X games" ?? I feel like this should be at least 20 but I don't know what others think.

Yeah, I was pulling a number out of thin air. The thinking behind winners taking time off is to avoid having a dominant team for more than one season. The retirement rule is to try and avoid some of the ridiculous teams you see in the perpetual leagues with masses of block and claw, mighty blow, piling on monsters making the game no fun for opponents. It also helps keep things fresh with new races popping up all the time and if we stick to the one team peer race rule it stops someone monopolising a favourite team.
