Follow the link to the schedule spreadsheet.

I'll make sure that the leage is available in Blood Bowl and BBM this evening.

Update - The revised schedule is in the spreadsheet (essentially swapping Games 1 and 3 in Fellentos Division). Assuming Gandalf and Lawastooshort can get their game in this week then we remain on schedule.

Update - The Playoffs have arrived!

Personally I think it's a tad pointless that doing well in the league doesn't count for too much, but whatever, let's go with it.

I'm a maybe this weekend - it's a family get-together (21 in total!) and a service of thanksgiving for our son at our church. Everyone may or may not be gone in time for 8pm.

MATCH DAY 1

27th April 2014 - 20:00 GMT+1

Welcome back sports fans and do we have a show for you? Well, Bob, do we?

Yes, Jim, Yes we do. The RT Cup was won last year by the Weird Outcasts who are now touring the Old World on a lucrative sponsership deal with Orcidas. The tournament is back for a second season though with a mix of last years veterans and new teams thirsty for glory. Talk us through the games on this opening day, Jim.

I will, Bob, I most certainly will. The first match in Badger Division is the Witch Gate Wanderers verses the Grimm Grimms. This one is likely to be a bloodbath after these two clashed in last season's climactic struggle for second place. The Grimms are carrying injuries but nobody should underestimate them. The Dark Elves on the other hand recently announced a new signing, bringing a Witch Elf onto the field for the first time. At the press conference Bernard Ecclescakes, half-halfling promoter and sponsor of the Wanderers stated that her skimpy armour makes her a danger to herself and others but he's far too scared to tell her to change it. What about Fellentos Division Bob?

It's exciting here too. Jim. We have a rematch between the Everglade Wanderers and the Brewers Brawlers. The elves won't be looking forward to this one after last time although suspicions of doping have been raised by the Brawlers after their normal beer delivery man was mysteriously replaced by a strange fellow with pointy ears and an unconvincing beard. The Brawlers checked the barrels and noticed that the word "Poison" had been crossed out on each one. Never ones to turn down a challenge the Dwarves drank it all anyway and declared it to be "A bit yeasty, but mostly fine".

Thanks for that, Bob. Back in Badger Division we have two rookie teams coming together for the first time. Saur'd of Justice will be taking on the Champions of Corruption. It's a tough one to call, will the strength of the Sauri chew through the crunchy Chaos Dwarves into the soft, chewy Hobgoblin centre or will the Dwarves use their innate abilities to trip, tackle and stomp the Skinks into the astrogranite?

Who knows, Jim, who knows? Lastly in Fellentos Divison there are another two promising rookie teams, the lovely ladies of SuchDodge against the hideous ratmen of the OverCheesers. With both teams able to score quickly and move freely we can expect a high scoring game with plenty of incident. That, and and my plan of sneaking into the Amazonian locker room is why this one is Bob's Game of the Week.

Thanks for that thought, Bob, I think we'll wrap it up there. So fans, we have 8 teams, 4 games and the prospect of total carnage. Roll on the weeked!

And it was a great and brutal day of play wasn't it Jim?

It certainly was Bob. It was just a shame that the wagons carrying the Overcheesers were stranded when the drivers were lured away by what reports are calling "A bunch of lovely ladies". The Skaven took to the sewers and are expected any day now though.

There was also controversy when the Brewers Brawlers were found drunk in charge of a Deathroller before their match with the Everglade Wanderers. The Wanderers declared themselves winners by default whilst the Brawlers fought with the refs, the local traffic patrol and 3 imperial army batallions who happened to be in the area on manauvers. The Brawlers topped off their morning by stumbling onto the wrong pitch and played SuchDodge for 90 minutes before realising that the Amazons weren't Elves. Say what you like about the Dwarves, Jim, but they really like to drink, fight and play Blood Bowl!

Match Day 2

4th May 2014 - 20:00 GMT+1

Welcome, sportsfans, to the second week of play in the RT Cup. I’m Bob Bifford and with me as ever is Jim Johnson ready for another week of carnage, mayhem and maybe even the occasional touchdown!

Thanks, Bob, it’s great to be back isn’t it? Now, let’s take a look at this week’s games. In Fellentos Division we start with a clash between SuchDodge and the Everglade Wanderers. This has all the makings of a classic and you’d be a brave man to bet on the final result. All we know for sure is that there will be plenty of touchdowns!

But probably not enough punches, Jim. Not enough punches by far. Over in Badger Division Saur’d of Justice have moved their investigation on to the Witch Gate Wanderers.  We spoke to Inspector Morse-lisk  who said only that they were “continuing their investigations” before stomping off demanding that it was time for a pint.

Back in Fellentos Division The OverCheesers will be taking on the Brewers Brawlers. An interesting matchup this one, the unstoppable speed of the Skaven versus the immovable Dwarves. It’s likely to be a bloodbath but if the Dwarves forget about the ball then the Skaven might well take it.

Finally we have the last matchup in Badger Division which is the Champions of Corruption against the Grimm Grimms. Both the Grimms and the Champions are carrying a number of injuries but the veterans on the Grimms roster make them a tough prospect.

It’s a fascinating match, Bob, and I’m sure you’ll be in the crowd for that one.

I certainly will Jim, I’ll be providing commentary for the live Cabalvision broadcast and I hope you all tune in to see it! Until next time, happy hitting folks!

Btw, I hope you're all enjoying the nonsense and fluff I'm puting into these posts. If nobody's reading them I may not bother in future ;) (Yes, that was a transparent demand for praise and justification :) )

I can't say for others, but I'm not really into all the fluff, so I just skim over it... Sorry.

Keep it up Raveen. Brilliant blather * :D

*it's one of the skills in the original Warhammer Fantasy RPG. You can use it to confuse people.

I like it, though I thought you could've added some stuff about the results just gone.

Noted, although it's hard to really report on the matches without watching them. I'll see what I can fit in next time

My rearranged game with lawastooshort will be happening sometime after 18th May. Date yet to be decided. It may push back subsequent matches.

Rav - the playoff dates are wrong - the dates on the left are different to the ones on the right.

Odds are the one on the left are correct, or at least were until the delay. I'll check it out and fix it this evening. The dates were only on both sides to make it look nice anyway ;)
