RT Cup Season 2

Gentlemen, I have created the new league in Blood Bowl called RT Cup Season 2. The password is palmtree and you should be able to apply with your teams as of now.

I have created 3 leagues in BB Manager, RT Cup S2 BADGER, RT Cup S2 FELLENTOS and RT Cup Season 2.

You will need to submit your games to the BBM league for your division. The pass word for this is palmtree. I hope to use the other one for combining stats to give overall rankings for anyone who likes that sort of thing.

When I Apply to RT CUp season 2 in Blood bowl. I get the message "You cannot make an application for this team, as it's value is below the league's requirement.

My Lizardmen team has a TV of 960 (spent all I could to have 6 saurus (5 skinks) and a few re-rolls).

Do I need to hit 1000 dead on? Or is something wrong?

Edit: got it working later, and registered. Think it hadn't recognised the players I had bought.

I can find the league but I can't pick a team to enter it - do I need to withdraw my team from last season's league first?

Just hopped online and accepted all the applications. If I can remeber how I'll make Idan and Gandy league admins too just in case I go under a bus (or more likely a JCB in my line of work ;) ).

Thank you but identity gave me the details last night, so I am all set. I think. Half the family is ill though so the excitement of wondering whether I get an uninterrupted two hours is adding to the opening game tension ;)

edit: oh bother, in fact no. See nathan for details. Sorry everyone.

Gandalf vs. Spinx first attempt

Spinx's computer becomes non-responsive and he tries rebooting. He doesn't make it back in time and I win by forfeit. Obviously this won't count for the league but it has screwed things up a bit as I got money for winning (I rerolled a 5 to a 2 though), got my injured wardancer back and got 10 SPP's....

I propose to minimize this as far as possible by doing the following things for my rematch.
- don't level up the 2 guys that I can now level up
- start with only one wardancer on the pitch
- Spinx just spends 50k on inducements rather than the 100k that he would be entitled to (before these shenannigans our TV's were almost the same)

Of course this doesn't help future matches but there's nothing I can do about that. You will all have more money for inducements I guess - until you kill some elves that is!

edit : seems I have to level up my 2 players before playing another game. So maybe we just go with....
A necromancer approached the Wood Elves offering them a strange potion promising free experience and healing from injuries. The Wood Elves were hesitant, but remembering the awful luck that befell them at times in the previous season, decided that this was a good omen and that their luck was turning. The potion worked though it did leave them constipated for a week.

I beat Wylds Chaos Dwarfs 3-0 (scoreline a bit harsh on wyld, but a fun game)

Is there a chance we can show A standings table at the top of this thread (or another one for each division) I'd like to see what's going on in the other division ansd it's a little tricky with BBManager and/or BB

The Orca-Cola cup use BBM and have a BBM League per division and an aggregate league which shows the stats across all the divisions. If I can figure out how to do that I will.

For now the league IDs are Badger - 10454 and Fellentos - 10456. You can use those numbers for now for sigs etc.

I'll get the images up for the league one way or another tomorrow.

How do we do those fancy signatures?

Due to RL events, la couldn't make it so I hung around on mumble playing some FTL. Seeing as Gandalf couldn't stay to restart the match with LtSpinx, we agreed to play instead.

Spinx won the toss and chose to receive. Having trained to play against some rats this week, my girls weren't sure what to expect from the stumpy little dorfs. At least no one was going to be staring down their cleavage this game... Underestimating the effects of tackle, SuchDodge set up to kick off with nine players on the touch line, wondering if this would be their first and last game. Needless to say, it was a bit of a blood bath. By turn four, six of my team had been KO'd, fouled, or beaten up by dorf fans. With only five players on the pitch, the first half ended with a touchdown to LtSpinx.

(More to come when I get a chance)

The second half started with a change of tactics for the Amazon girls. This time they were going to play hard-to-get. Starting with the minimum of three lineswomen on the touch line, the rest of the team pulled back into their half to receive the ball. Whilst the dwarves ran drunkenly after the beautiful women, Atanea the Enchanter managed to dodge through the defense to score a touchdown.

With three turns left, SuchDodge set up Hard-to-get again and kicked the ball deep into the dwarf field. Confident that the dwarves wouldn't be able to run the ball down the pitch in the remaining time, the Amazon girls started their defense early, and started a massive push down the slighty weaker left flank of the dwarves. Supprised by the sudden change in attitude, the Dwarves weren't able to get on the ball leaven Atanea plenty of time to pick it up and run it to the touch line.

Thanks for the game Spinx, I hope you enjoyed it as much as me. I certainly learnt a lot!

Hello - yes, apologies but I had to look after a friend's children as she was rushed to hospital last night. I got back very late.

I'm not sure I would be able to play tonight, Gandalf, as I am exceedingly more tired than normal (ill children), but I'll see how it goes. I'll try for tomorrow if not, but I'm already hallucinating from lack of sleep and it's only 11.

Not sure if I want to play against wardancers, I don't think my rats like them.

Not a problem Lawas (there was some speculation on the what your nick means btw :) ). RL has to come first and if you can't catch up we can always defer other games until it's fitted in.

I'll Post up in the BB Manager thread about the images of joy Ident.

I'm a doofus in any case; I can't play tonight. Tues or Thurs work for me.
