Rolling Thunder Forums

I was wondering, would a Facebook Group where matches are announced help to make sure that everyone sees notifications and nobody misses matches?

Particularly for those people who don't obsessively read the forums (essentially everyone who isn't Gandalf or me).

Probably for some, as long as it doesn't replace the forum. Not all of us have facebook.

I could build some kind of email reminder system?

I check Facebook less than once a week.

It turns out I don't actually go and check the forums much more often either, but I do subscribe to the threads I'm interested in and follow the e-mail links pretty regularly.
