Rolling Thunder BBL Season 7: The Parma Violence Cup

Someone complained that there wasn't a thread for the cup. And someone else implied it wouldn't get done until the last minute. But they didn't know that Blood Bowl is not a chore and so I don't leave it until the last minute (but I might sometimes forget about it because it is, after all, only a game). Recognising that some people might like to know the plan, or at least see it written down vaguely in an official place, I have moved forward with my first post and thread plans to bring you this, a thread and a temporary first post. Proper logos and maybe some fluff will replace this text at the weekend, but for now at least you can have a schedule of the games due to be played and somewhere to chat about them. So without further ado:
Game 1:
Orkly Ducklingz (1) vs Everglade Wanderers (8)
Game 2:
The Brave Harts (2) vs Fables! (7)
Game 3:
A Fistful of Boomstick (3) vs The Mighty Undercheesers (6)
Game 4:
Hambridge Archers (4) vs The 13th Doomwheel (5)

Goodness me, I was only 6th?! Urg!
Hello Moose! I think you got your first point against me last season, so this should be a good game!
Not much in the way of a skaven-elf final I think, no offence to everyone else meant

Is there a league to join in BB? If not you'll want to get it sorted and get everyone to join ahead of time so that you can fight with the seeding pages at your leisure. Have fun with that!

See the blood bowl resource page for Rav's words of wisdom regarding how to do this

I think the podcast thought differently.
Will be interesting to see how Wood Elves - Orcs go when the orcs have at least some intention of trying to win.
Feel free to post predictions on the predictions thread. I will update the spreadsheet with the league results... honest...

Yes there is, it's called "RTBBL Season 7: Parma Violence Cup". I'd appreciate it if everyone could sign up ASAP.

I think you were technically joint 5th with Abom. There is only a five casualty difference between the 2nd and 6th seed.

You're all big sissies.
PirlOrc knows the lads already won the Violence league, and finds this farce of a 'Violence Cup' with no violence quite ridiculous.
He will however, Grace you by attending the field on Sunday. It may, however, be without Percy. Apparently the nitwit has gone mental.

Can I clarify the brackets? Will it be like this?
Winner G1 vs Winner G4
Winner G2 vs Winner G3
That assumes that assuming top seed always wins the games will be 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 which feels right.

I don't know. I hadn't thought much further than "I hope everyone signs up by Sunday afternoon so I can get is all sorted before 8pm." If you want the games that way then I can do it that way, unless anyone has any objections (not you Daigaro).

Gerty doesn't mind who she has to murder next after murdering ALL the elves.
So there.

That was the bracketing we assumed in the podcast and you wouldn't want to make a liar of Percy would you now?

Thanks to those who have signed up already. If Abom and Daigaro could sign up ASAP that would be great, thanks!

If I can fathom how the computer works I'll get right on it.
