Here's the answer to something that came up today. How is the money post-game decided??

Firstly, work out how many fans come to support you. Roll 2D6 and add your Fan Factor (and multiply by 1,000).
Now, work out your FAME (Fan Advantage Modifier). If you have the same or less fans than your opponent, your FAME is 0. If you have more it is +1, if you have at least twice the number of fans then your FAME is +2. These are worked out before the game, as they can effect some things, besides the prize money.

Now for the actual answer!
Money after a match = (D6 + FAME + W) x 10000
W is 10,000 if you won/tied the match, or 0 if you didn't.
Also, if you won, you are allowed to re-roll your D6, but must accept the new roll (I turned a 1 into a 6 after my last match .

I also wondered what the 2/3 dice rolls on the end game screen meant. This is to decide if your fan factor goes up or down.
- Winner rolls 3D6, if you draw or lose roll 2D6.
- If you won/drew, and your roll is higher than your current fan factor, then your fan factor goes up by 1.
- If you drew/lost, and your roll is less than your current fan factor, then your fan factor goes down by 1.

Buying re-rolls

This was something Wyld and I were discussing the other day.

When you create your team, you can buy re-rolls at a cost of 50,000 - 70,000 (depends on which race you are).

If you want to buy more later, they cost DOUBLE, however only add the normal value to the value of your team. So I saved up 120,000 for a 3rd re-roll for my Skaven team which then added 60,000 to my value.

Implication - it can take a while to save up for more re-rolls, but after you have it, it is no worse for your team than if you got it when you created your team. However it does mean you might have to put off other things you were hoping to buy (eg more rats to use as cannon fodder :p).

On the upside, buying re-rolls after team creation can help combat bloat as you only get half the value of the money spent added to your TV.

If you just want to reduce the value of your team you can kick players off your team (which gets you no money) and replace them (which costs money, obviously)

I have two crocked rats I'd like to do that to. If I keep fluking rolls of 6 in the "how much money do you get" roll that might happen quite soon. But I'd rather have 2 subpar rats on the bench than none, given the rate they are getting taken out.
