Rolling Thunder Blood Bowl House Rules
1) Friendly resign - may be proposed in the following situations...
a) After a touchdown or half time, or
b) At any time, if it is for real life reasons (the RT member has to go and deal with some RL issue).
The other player is encouraged to accept the resign request if it is for good reason, eg not fun anymore due to excessive injuries, huge scoreline already, thinks will lose & would rather start a new game rather than continuing current one etc.
The resign is enacted by both players clicking end turn repeatedly without performing any actions. Alternatively if the players think it is fair that the result should be different than the current one (as may be the case in scenario b)) then they should move players out of the way as appropriate in order for the match to end with the agreed-upon result.
The advantage of a friendly resign over an actual in-game one is that both teams will still get some money from it and the winning team will not get two MVP awards. Neither of these consequences are particularly in line with RT's values of fair play.
