Yeah, that Sunderer upgrade is something we should highly encourage. Perhaps we could put some heads together on IRC and consolidate a list of wise things to upgrade with your first 1000 cert points? Woulda been nice to know to not upgrade that main gun on the Lightning right away

Was playing today, had a good vehicle zerg going on, but no one stuck around to defend points and we lost the entire map. Very good niche to fill as a splinter group about our size.

I've had these experiences as well. A 6 - 8 person team could really make a difference. And if we can show in proper SG numbers of 12+ we can do it in two places at once.

I can fly air cover now. I'm starting to get a feel for the flight controls, and my Reaver has air-to-air missiles and countermeasures.
I also got a new missile launcher for Heavy Assault that Flux recommended. I'm not sure if the jack-of-all trades missile is worth a damn, but it was fun to mess around with. It tracks flying targets (poorly) and tanks (but does crappy damage)... so
Anyway, at least it annoys everybody.

Additionally I've put a fair bit of Certs into reducing the cooldown on the Reaver. Lvl 13 pilot Adept reporting for CAP duty.

And I spent my last SC on getting the huge anti-tank cannon for a gunship, and pimping it up in general. Now both me and Solarflux can deliver death from above in 150 mm HEAT servings.

Had my first proper outing with it. IncoherentBoy blew up lots of stuff with the HEAT cannon, and Andon was bored in the rear turret.

Is it just me, or does the HEAT cannon look like a massive, trailing penis gun?
Also - I'm toying around with planes, and I'm actually reasonably workable with tanks. I'm LOVING the Heavy with the scope on the SAW. Plinking people from far away is fun... and then pulling out a rocket launcher when a tank pulls up is even better!
