You find no information about this Haakon in Meketh, so you head to Stormlord. Even there, you can't find much information on him. Most of the information you DO get is laughs from a few people when you tell them he's a "Vicious Criminal." If he was so vicious, maybe they would have heard of him?
Haakon is nowhere to be found. You're not even sure Haakon existed.
Your options:
1: Continue searching for Haakon
2: Admit defeat (2500 credits lost in fees)
3: Go back to Cobra and see what's going on.
New System: Stormlord
Cobra Enterprises won't disappear overnight. so before I go Back and ask them politely wtf they are on about I will
1) I'll search a bit more. decide to go as low signature as I can and wait for a bit see if anything unusual happens.
You follow the ship's path, stretching your ship's sensors to their limits. Eventually, you get a reading on something moving, and after closing in you see it is the cargo ship you were sent to find. Attempts at hailing the ship, however, meet with no response, and after a few tries you attempt to use the signal light to gain their attention. There is no response. The ship seems in good condition, but nobody seems to be responding. If it continues on its current course, it will hit the jump point to Meketh in only a few hours. It's impossible to tell if the ship will jump through or not.
Your options:
1: Attempt more contact.
2: Alert authorities. Your work here is done.
3: Board the ship, see what's going on.
I will attempt to make contact as I close for boarding, making sure to close the distance in a non-threatening way.

Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Right, I better go to the authorities and register my new ship with them.
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
oh, derp. I guess I managed to think I updated this and not actually update. No wonder there's been nothing going on!
What sort of officer are you looking for? What skills are you interested in?
[member=20]notjarvis[/member]
Despite your increased searching, you can find little trace of Haakon. Do you:
1: Fabricate a Haakon to capture to complete the mission
2: Go to Cobra
3: Admit Defeat (5,000 in fees. Yes, it gets higher as you spend more time)
[member=37]LtSpinx[/member]
You close for boarding, the ship seemingly oblivious to your approach. It makes no movements as you line your docking port up to its own, and as you open your airlock and step into the transfer tunnel, you see a light that shouldn't be lit: Lack of internal atmosphere beyond the airlock.
Your options:
1: Grab your rifle from the arms rack. Something's not right here.
2: Proceed unarmed. Don't want to make the wrong impression.
3: Compromise: Bring a sidearm, just in case. Small enough to not be terribly threatening though.

Paperwork. Paperwork. MORE PAPERWORK. And then when you're done with that... You guessed it. More paperwork.
Donning Side-arms and environmental suits I will proceed to board with one crew member as backup and the other keeping watch on out ship (fully armed and armoured in case of any funny business)

Stealth and tracing mostly.
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Is the game dead/finished/over?
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Sorry guys, I had to fade away from the game as I've been super busy lately. My apologies.
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
OK, so, remembered about this as I was moving things around the forums.
First: I must apologize for just letting this die. I should have at least posted something.
Second: This was half of an experiment with the other forum I go to - They had a "Bandits" game. This is the same forum that Drakon frequents, hence his special role.
This was also the reason why the game failed. Trying to keep you guys in the dark, and make sure people posted and did their actions, and have it all in a timely manner proved to be impossible. I couldn't exactly leave people behind because it would cause problems for the other half of the game.

It was a good experiment while it lasted though

Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Wait, you were experimenting on us?! I'm outraged!
It sounds cool though! Were there a bunch of other people playing the people we interacted with? Was the woman whom I stole the courier from and then "saved me" later on a real person?
That's pretty cool!
