New patch is available for download, and it's about 4 gigs so you may want to start it early.

Looking forward to seeing how the warp gates have rotated.  Should make for an interesting change of pace, launching assaults in different map regions.

Goodness, perks to shotguns?  Already terrible for most of PS2, they always worked disturbingly well in biolabs and such for me.

Hearing the new patch is bit of a mess.  Haven't sat down and played it yet, might fire it up in a bit.  Anything I should be especially wary of?

They messed up a hotfix and broke turrets, but there's been another hotfix since then that's cleared that.
Some folks have also been reporting framerate issues and stuttering, but I've heard that deleting userprefs.ini and letting the game rebuild it can help that.  I get a lousy framerate anyway so I wouldn't know if that does anything.
