Wizards!
Re: Wizards!
Uther rather embarrassed quietly asks his companions in turn "Errrr.... you won't mention the whole suggesting we worship Santa down there will you?"
After that he tries to place the Genius idea in Jet li's head to try to recover Fenlander and Verincent
cost 7M

Re: Wizards!
I guess I hate "n"s. I inform them of my mistake and ask if they can retrieve the others.
Re: Wizards!
Fenlander gasps in pain and shock as the Spirit of Fire - always a particularly violent one, but even more so here in Hell, enters his mind, overwhelming the Elemental with its primordial might. His body burns up, choking him with unseen fumes. He barely hears the Spirit talk.
Earth told you to tread with caution, Fenlander.. it is too bad you did not listen. I am content here, burning the souls of the damned. But perhaps you may be useful. In the lowest Circle of Hell there is a Demon Lord named Zurvan - waging an eternal war for dominion of the First Circle.
If you can help him win the war against his rival Lord, he might allow you to follow him as he unleashes all of armageddon upon the second, third and fourth Circles. The fourth circle is home to the Stairway to Heaven.
Fenlander's hand starts to burn with actual flames. He snaps out of his trance and beats the fire out, losing his vision. Do they heed Fire's words and go seek Zurvan? Or do they find their own way to the Fourth Circle?
MEANWHILE, BACK IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING..
Andronicus and Uther attempt to persuade Jet Li to conduct another rite of recovery, smiling while easily shielding himself from Uther's mental assault, he tells you that he could recover the rest of the party tomorrow, as the rite can only be used once per day.

Re: Wizards!
Any way to know how strong this Zurvan is?
And if he isn't too much stronger, how can we level up a bit?
And a review of what we have gained post-signage?
Plskthx

Nope.

You'll level up automatically after surviving x days in the game. Being almost a week in the game I think you're due a level up soon enough, which will allow you to expand your spell book a bit.
And a review of what we have gained post-signage?
You gained nothing but a ticket to hell. So... er.

Just go with a decision
At this rate, you should be back among the living within the next 24 hours (game time) so really whatever you do here doesn't matter as long as you don't get yourself killed. Consider this an opportunity to roleplay and get more brownie points for the incoming level up.

The monks seems to be on the case of rescuing the rest, so Uther informs the team he's heading out to see if this village has a tavern......(and heads out alone if no-one else wants to come along)

Re: Wizards!
The monks disperse and Jet Li tells the party (those that are here, anyway) that they're welcome to stay in the Monastery until they can recover Verincent and Fenlander. He shows you to some bare rooms for guests, and turns in for the night. Andronicus decides to rest a moment while Mordin and Uther - happy to be among the living again, go to the tavern to do some serious damage to the drinks cellar.
The pair arrive at the Dragon's Mane and order the best rice wine (never had one of those before!) and enjoy their drink. The air inside is festive with farmers and various workers trickling in after a day of hard work.
I'm taking a very lax control of money here and adopting a 'plot money' policy. You will have enough for stuff, until I decide on a side quest that dictates otherwise. That said, lets not go overboard and buy an entire island.

Re: Wizards!
Dragon's Mane eh?
Uther attempts to engage the Landlord in conversation.
"Dragon's mane - that's a very interesting name, I wonder how such a fine establishment as this got it....."

Re: Wizards!
Well, Fenlander, lad. Seems we have been forgotten by time. Sitting here is boring as hell. Heh.
I smell Adroicus's hand in this, though, the good slow lad. I bet he is already having a beer with Mordin and Uther. I guess we should make our little sub clicque (*says to self*: damn it, I should've hung out with Mordin more and maybe tricked Uther to become that stand he likes being so I could take his Jerkin). You know, kinda like Mordin and Uther seemed to be doing before THEY VANISHED INTO THIN AIR. And also how Adroitus seems to be ta(l)king (to all) his t(h)yme.
Goddamn hell. Seems we are in for a little bit of a bind until we get rescued. You have a mostly useless skill and I have a mostly useless skill. Like I said, goddamn hell. But we do have our physicality yo. You can be the shield and I can be the club. Let's go find something small to pick on? WHAT SAY YOU FENLANDER. Who knows, maybe we find some sort of Cryomonkey we can slaughter to rub its pelt on your burns... (*grumble grumble* and see if I can get something more useful to a seer than this useless multipathing into the past).
Or we can sit here doing nothing, though we don't even have the provisions since Mordin took em with him. I don't mind fasting one day, but I would really rather go on our tiny crusade I propose.

Re: Wizards!
Yeah... I kinda need Fenlander to say what he's going to do before I move the Hell storyline forward. And you each have 9 days worth of provisions, so you guys are good for a few more days.
Uther decides to talk to the barkeep, a bearded, slender, grinning chap with the most amazing eyebrows ever. He tells Uther that years ago, in the city on the mountain *points vaguely* the Divine Dragon descended upon the heavens, and charged across the skies...
After that, you struggle to make sense of it. Apparently hairs from the dragon's mane fell off and landed in the village, and a race of men were sprang forth from the hairs... or something like that. Dragon's Mane was named after that. Hmm.

Re: Wizards!
Now we talking!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure we are on a ticking clock and probably won't get too far before we are recalled by Acdroficus and co. (Right? RIGHT?)
Let's just face this Back to the Future style and try not to do anything that would mess with the forces involved here which might stop our teleporting. That means let's find some really, really, REALLY lesser demon's ass to kick.
(Oh my timeness, I love how enticing that sounds... You probably know how unlikely it is that our actions have no real consequence, but the current glimpses of reality I have are just too boring. Need to spice things up... WITH SOMETHING OTHER THAN THYME).

Re: Wizards!
Uther will spend the rest of the night attempting to do the following if possible.
- Drinking
- Once again have a good old Moan to Mordin about how badly treated he was by the college of Magic. (teh whole party of wizards have all already heard the tale at least 4 times whilst we have been travelling by the way. It really is ALL Uther goes on about).
- Drinking
- Attempt to engage a pretty serving wench or local girl in conversation and more (probably unsuccessfully)
- Drinking
- Remember something about dragons. And start talking about dragons loudly and drunkenly, and how we are going out to kick some serious dragon tail.
