3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Yeah we'll stick around but tie him up/disarm him.
Search his possessions for any treasures information we could use.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
When he wakes up, perhaps Uther can use voice of command to get some answers. I can shield Uther just in case
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Hmmm. Since we're stopping for the night anyway, cast Divination. I want to see this guy's future.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
R'rud suggests they make camp. They also disarm him of his staff, which is something of quite significant power.. it is black in color and appears to be made of steel, a shiny black orb rests on the top, caged in by the intertwining steel material.
What do you do with it?
Meanwhile, the three other Cacti Warriors, Lancelot, Gawain and Hariulfus stand guard over the elf, having been told in their youth of the great Mage Wars and how dangerous and elf could be. Ivanhoe lends a prickly hand on pitching up the tents.
Andronicus draws some runes in the sand and...
Lights. A city underground, aflame, elves running, dying, a dark shape surges through the shadows, fire spears forth from it like death's hand. You look down, and kneel. An elf... the elf, the same one you're divining, is pressing a jade key into your hands....
You may look at two things closer.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I am away this weekend, but Folst will try and heal the elf up when the others are ready to deal with it.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Study the staff further. Try to get some insight in its precise power and effects. Keep it far from the elf.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Look at the key and the fire-spewing thing
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
As his powers are a bit useless on sleeping peopl> Uther goes and looks around the area (being careful not to get too far from any protection).
He has a good look to see any signs of
a) What the elf was running from
b) Where the elf was running from (this is so he can talk the others into going in the opposite direction in the morning. Anything that can spook a powerful elf-mage is something he doesn't want to meet)

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Folst takes care of the elf and sees to his well being. He's a bit dehydrated, which seems to be the cause him losing consciousness. A mild fever, hmm, and of course exhaustion. Nothing some water (which you pour gently into his mouth) and some sleep won't fix.
R'rud studies the staff. Being a duelist, he is familiar with the various staves of the other schools, but this feels... different. You've heard of elven staves and how much more powerful they are to human ones, and as far as you can tell this does seem to be the case.... this apparently powerful staff of power may as well be a walking stick to the elves.
Far in the future, Andronicus breathes in fumes of noxious ash as chaos runs amok in the elven city. He takes a few steps, trying to see past the dancing shadows thrown about by the flames and...
It is the Sand Worm... again. And it is angry. You gulp, and look down at the jade key. It is a beautiful thing, but hardly a key, really. It's just a stick of green stone with a hole for a string to go through. It radiates power, and you sense that it is similar to the power you felt when you divined the ruins. The dragon egg and the key must be related somehow.
Uther, having spotted nothing else of value in the elf's possession, goes to survey his surroundings as his comrades go about their duties and resting. All he sees is the rolling sands, long sweeping the elf's frantic trail. You don't see much, but you do sense a nagging feeling as you look over the horizon... something's out there, hidden. Magical, definitely.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Keep the staff for now. Shield on self when the elf wakes just in case
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther, Andronicus? Doing anything?
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
My theory: Ruins are elf city destroyed by sand wurm. Contains vision of egg, which the key unlocks. Egg is presumably of the sand wurm.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Nah.
Get some rest now.
Make sure we take turns watching the Elf in case he awakes

Sounds like a laugh...

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
"It is all right, friends - we Cacti need not sleep, so we'll take care of the elf," Ivanhoe said.
And so all of you rest and try and sleep in the biting cold, your tents barely keeping the chill away. A few hours later, you are waken by a horn-blast just outside the camp. You wake up to see one of Ivanhoe's sword-brothers' face at the entrance.
"Come, little friend! Some thirty Goblins are headed this way! It has been an aeon since we've seen one, let alone thirty! We must stand fast!"
Goblins are an ancient extra-dimensional race, brought into the world during the First Mage War alongside Dragons and Elves. Today is a day of marvels indeed. Goblins are generally hostile to every living being regardless of their plane of existence.
Your options are to:
-Defend the camp.
-Run!
-Throw them the Elf, that's probably what they came for.
TWIST: You have not had enough sleep to recover your mana. Players affected are:
Fenlander: 30/110M
Andronicus: 11/105M
