Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
These two should be done shortly. I'll post some missions then.
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Hail The Ship.
"
I am Genghis Lahm
I'm Here to collect the Debt you owe.
You can either pass the 55,000* credits out of the Airlock Nice and easy so I can collect it, or I can collect it the other way."
<dramatic Pause>
"I guarantee the other way will not be so nice and painless....."
(I'm counting on my bad reputation putting a bit of the fear into him)
*If they ask about the extra 5,000 theres a 10% inconvenience fee.
Shortly after initiating communications, you figure out that this woman is the same one that you took the courier from a few weeks ago. She doesn't seem to hold a grudge, though. Her story seems a little off, but she has the supplies to help you out, and is offering to help.
Your options:
1: Accept the help, don't ask questions. Just get going and collect your money.
2: Accept the help but ask more about what she was doing so close to you.
3: Refuse the help. Demand answers.

It turns out he doesn't have the 50,000 - let alone your inconvenience tax. He's upset about the damage to his ship, and offers you 40,000 credits and taking over his current contract (Delivering a VIP to Meketh, reward is 10,000 credits), but also insists that you pay for the repairs to his drive system.
Your scanners show that the damage isn't terrible - just enough to knock it out and make it inoperable. It could be repaired for about 5,000 credits.
Your options:
1: Take the offer. Deliver the guy to Meketh (Hell, you have to go back there to deliver the payment anyway), and bite the bullet for the repair bill.
2: Reject the offer. Demand his ship instead.
3: (Insert counteroffer here)
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Why in hells name would I pay for the repairs to his ship?
He can come on my ship, along with his passenger, and we can all go to Meketh.
He can explain why he can't pay the rest of his debt.
I can take the money for his passenger
And he can thank me for not taking his worthless snivelling Debtor life.

Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
Well, technically speaking, you DID do the damage to his ship. You DID make a sneak attack on him.
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
That's the risk you take for running up debts with people.
Especially when there a risk they may hire someone like Genghis.
Genghis Arms his weapons.
"Come aboard my ship and we will all go to meketh or I will waste you and your VIP"
(How much is his ship worth I may demand that instead)

Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
In its current state? Somewhere between 60 and 70 thousand.
Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
So. Horrible Debtor
So debtor - you have two choices.
Of course - there's the 3rd option. I can destroy your ship with you in it. And people will learn something about messing Genghis Lahm about.

Re: Andon's Forum Game: Bounty Hunters!
You again?! I wouldn't have expected much help out here, but if you're willing to give it I'll take it. I'm not sure I trust you just yet though, what were you doing so close to my ship? It seems like more than just a coincidence. Any why is there a hole in it?
