Cool, we're all ready. Our adventure will begin soon. Currently I'm at my mother's place enjoying a bit of a holiday of sorts before I go and pursue a degree in September. I hope to start the game on Monday!

The forum issues are something your end since nobody else has reported it and I haven't seen anything like it. Try the usual suspects (cookies, cache, etc) and they might help. Could also be the browser you use. Failing that, for your background you could email it to me and I can edit it into your post

Forgot, you guys still need to have some spells in your spell book.. you may have two of the three given, or pick one spell and upgrade it to level 2. All spells max at level 3. Stats are randomly rolled, with some considerations thrown in for background.
Mordin of the Healers
H(ealth): 103 (Naturally when it reaches 0... you die.
M(agic): 103 (When it reaches 0 you will not be able to cast spells and will faint / be unconscious)
A(ttack): 5 (Generally your damage with whatever you have... currently fists)
Ar(mor): None. Armor reduces damage taken.
S(peed): 12 Determines who goes first during combat, and if you hit and miss. Hit and miss rolls have a D10 roll added to it. If the attacker has the higher number, he hits. Defender has highest, the attack misses.
Spell Book (choose two, if you choose one, the spell automatically becomes a level 2 spell)
Create Water: Fills a target container with pure untainted water. Mana costs vary depending on container.
Heal: Heals any living creature's wounds. (30 H healed). 30M
Cook: Use your cooking skills to create rations out of nothing! 15M
Fenlander of the Elementals
H: 183
M: 104
A: 15 (+7 Oaken Staff)
AR: 0
S: 8
Spell Book:
Commune: Talk to the elemental spirits. Useful for information. 8M
Night: Makes the sun go down and the moon come up. May have disastrous effects. 20M
Trees with SWORDS: Trees gain sentience. Does not mean they will follow orders. Not friendly to friend-hewers. 12M
Uther the Unseen
H: 103
M: 104

AR: 8 (leather jerkin. You have NO idea how that got on your person.)
S: 5 (-1 for leather jerkin)

Daze: Stuns target. He misses his combat round. 7M
GENIUS: Puts a seemingly great idea into target's head. 7M
Mahogany: Transforms yourself into a Mahogany stand. 2M

A couple of questions:
My Speed is 12, so I'm probably going to start the fighting... I can't really see how this is going to be useful with my abilities and all (not really a questions, more of a pondering).
Shouldn't Andronicus and Verincent have Speed as well?
