3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Rest and interrogate.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Resume resting. Tend to the Cacti in whatever manner I can.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther stops quivering.
Decides to have a friendly* chat with the Elf. Try subtely using Voice of Command on him to winkle out some answers.
If we have any alcohol share it with him
"Hello there elf-friend. You are safe here.
We have fought off those goblins
We are trekking through this desert in search of wonders and knowledge.
Obviously we are interested in what dangers lie about - what is it that frightened you so? And what were you running from?"
*Presumably we haven't decided whether he is friend or foe yet, but it's good to pretend for now,

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
What is everyone's current health and mana status (including the cactii)?
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther: 88/105M
Fenlander: 30/110M
Andronicus: 11/105M
The Cacti seem a bit worse for wear as you see up close what goblins are about. The Cacti's armor was badly damaged, but was what saved them from the mauling from the pack. It's a good thing that they're plants, so have no vital organs to mend.
Cacti Warriors (Excluding Gawain, who is at full health)
78/114H
Fenlander: 30/110M
Andronicus: 11/105M

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I will heal as many people as I can until I'm down to half mana, then I'd like to know who else needs healing, if anyone. Then I'll go work on my archery skill...
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
What happens if I cancel the spell on the cacti and then recast it tomorrow once I've rested up and regained some mana?
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Put some pressure on the elf by looking grim, sometimes stroking the Talon of Horus or sharpening the Silver Dagger. Also, reserve my last magic for a shield in case the elf goes for it. Don't create the shield yet though.

Hold on old Buddy with that. I'll play the good cop, then you try the bad cop.
If the good cop fails then you can threaten him.
You can even try the Ginger Beer thing if you want.
Otherwise we are sending him confusing messages :-)

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I am not doing anything.. (yet). Just sharpening my dagger a bit Uther. I really want to figure out if this dagger has magical abilities too.

You can't, the spell is permanent. I will start rolling for the interrogation tomorrow but I think you guys will be interested in this:
R'rud starts sharpening his silver dagger menacingly, the shink, shink sounds seeming to deliver the elf quite a great amount of discomfort... the scraping of the dagger on the whetting stone does sound a bit nasty... but is that all there is to it?

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Can I cast some of my lifeforce into some drinks to help us regain mana?
edit: and I say that with no innuendo whatsoever

I stick the same - try to befriend him a bit, ask him what he's so scared of and tell him he's safe now.

Nope, you can't. It's okay though, you regain full mana after a night's rest. I will update with the elf's story later today.
