Fenlander stalks off to hunt wild animals in the nearby wood. Mordin sneaks off minutes later, sniggering quietly to himself. The Elemental makes hunting easy due to his ability to speak with the elements, braining 4 deer as it mistakes Fenlander's scent to be one of their own.

As he sits there skinning the damn things and chopping them up to serve as provisions, 2 of the deer suddenly get up, brain neatly tucked back into a newly mended skull, and prances off! What the...

Mordin giggles and runs off back to the village, good deed done.

You now have 4 days worth of rations.

Uther returns to the Dragon's Mane and hears talk from several outriders from the city talking of a great honour guard headed their way. Apparently it is to escort several important persons from the west.

Okay, Uther can press for more information, or we can close the day here. Your choice.

Apparently, the King has invited 5 of the greatest Wizards of the West to watch him partake the Rite of Dominion which - in case you didn't know - is an annual event on the date of his coronation where he appeals for the blessing of the mighty dragon for another year of kingship.

Uther should probably ask for more details about the Wizards  at this point, but he'll actually return to type at this point.

He'll start attempting to attract any of the comely wenches he can find in the bar, by telling them he's a mighty wizard, and isn't it a genius idea to spend time with him, giggling at his 'hilarious' tales....

All the while drinking heavily etc. etc.

Day 8

The party awakes and Jet Li once again serves you breakfast, and upon hearing that a great honour guard is coming, bids you farewell. Meanwhile, Uther wakes up in a stable with his leather jerkin wrapped up tightly into a scroll and up his arse. There is a naked hairy man beside him. Best don't ask. He eventually makes his way to the monastery, wearing the jerkin properly now.

You have 4 days worth of rations and the honour guard is arriving soon. Is there anything else you would like to do before I forward the day?

We'd best clean ourselves up. Might be a good idea to have some fancy speeches prepared for this honor guard, the king, and perhaps the populace as well.

I'll check if anyone is in need of some healing in the village before the honor guard arrives. Hopefully we can get some rations or other valuables in exchange.

FYI, in addition to my 'update once a day but constantly check throughout' policy, I am also enacting a 'too bad' policy. If, within 24 hours, more than 2 players have posted their actions and someone hasn't - too bad, I'm moving the storyline anyway.

Everyone gets ready for the big day and bathes, Uther even going as far as styling his hair, combing it all back in a regal but greasy looking windswept image. Andronicus even practises a few speeches in preparation.

Mordin however, is busy going door to door helping villagers with their aches and ills. Very soon he has a veritable crowd converging on his location and he is showered with gifts and blessings and other kind of things.

Your food supply has been increased to 10 days. You are given a shirt of chain mail, which you're not sure suits your style. Oh, and a dagger. You may distribute this new found loot between your party or keep it to yourself.

Meanwhile, Fenlander goes about looking for more protection about his person..

Blacksmith's Shop - you have enough money for 1 of the following options:

A: A fully functional salvaged Imperial Guard Armour, provides you with full body protection.
B: 2 shirts of chain mail and a steel helmet.
C: 5 wooden bucklers.

The chainmail shirts would put us at 3. With the leather jeerjerkin and my natural armor that'd probably put us all at a reasonably comfortable armor level.

Also guys, remember this is Fenlander's call. You can advise him off-game by posting inside brackets or by heading whatever you're saying with OOC (out of character). You cannot influence him in game, etc.
