3 Months Later.. (Wizards)

Seeing the jackals move in, R'rud rouses Uther and prepares for the pending fight. Wearing his talon of horus for close up action, he activates a shield on himself. He tries to lure several jackals in close so he can stun several of them at once when the shield collapses. Once that happens he tries to disembowel the jackals in one circular sweeping motion with his fist weapon.

Uther spots the horses Over the way and tries to cast Genius on the leader, as in it's a genius idea to go and protect those people by the fire.


Uther then tries to find some higher ground, so he can poke at the hyenas with his trident. he pulls the Duchess and child closer to him too (he can always throw them to the Hyenas as a last resort, and if we survive it makes him seem in command and brave).

"If they're useful we could use their support. It shouldn't be hard to drive some jackals away."

Do we know that's where the others are? Given how time travel has worked so far it seems like we would.

You will not encounter younger selves if you use backstep.

I guess this doesn't stop us meeting other members who have not time travelled.

You didn't travel through time, Andronicus just reversed the effects of time in the general area he was in, so everything except the Undercity wall area should be as normal now. So you can encounter other party members no problem. You're just too far away to know its them.

Yes, but you have Uther with you and he's far less use than a small child.

If no one else chips into the discussion, the party on horseback ignores R'rud and Uther and make for the ruins, so speak now or hold your peace.

I'm a bit confused as to what's going on. Any chance of a brief synopsis?

Andon wants to help me and NJ. Identity wants to move on. Raveen I am not sure about.

I'm not resolving spells yet, want to know what each team is doing. Basically Andronicus wants to help R'rud and Uther, but Sylvos and Ident don't want to, Raveen questioned this, then no one said anything. So far its a vote of 2-1 in favor of passing Uther and R'rud by, so if no one chips in, this is what happens.

Sylvos leads the party away from the jackals, turning away to the ruins instead, leaving the beleaguered camp to its fate. Their journey was smooth, 9 days have passed, and they find themselves at the ruins.

Uther's spell attempts to find Sylvos, but is unable to breach the elf's defenses. He discovers that Sylvos is an elf of high station, and of even greater magical power... in any case, Uther rouses the duchess and the child and takes some high ground to protect himself with.

The jackals, 6 of them, close in...

It happened in a blur. R'rud, a very powerful Duelist in his own right, stepped forward, and before you could say "someone set me up the bomb," R'rud had set the jackals up the bomb. They lay in tattered pieces of blood and gore around him. (-10M) This impresses the duchess immensely, and she heaps praise on her 'champion and defender', totally ignoring Uther who was protecting her from harm.

The party is victorious! Do they rest or move out again? R'rud is moderately fatigued from his exertions but should be all right to march through the night if they so decide.
