Wizards!
Re: Wizards!
What is the personality of the All-Father? Is he a kind, generous sort, or a hard ruler?

Your majesty, is the All-Father a lonely god, or are there other creatures like him (preferably very small, like the kind you can raise as pets)?
[/quote]
"I have heard of creatures resembling the All-Father in many foreign tales, so there may as well be some of a similar kind. But I've ever only met the All-Father, despite my.. advanced age."
To Andronicus he replies:
"He is, to my memory - both. There was once several hundred years ago when we were at war with a rival nation... their capital city is now a lake."

Re: Wizards!
Dear Majesty, I reckon the All-father is involved in your conception of this our world? How do you describe your worldview and the All-Father's role in it?
Re: Wizards!
Suspicious, and paranoid uther thinks the very young King looks far too relaxed for someone awaiting the arrival of a big fiery dragon
Casts Genius on the king - It's obviously a Genius idea to trust these foreign wizards with your deepest fears.
"So o great king what worries do you have about tomorrows events, and do you fear it going wrong in any way?"

Another small smile. "Are you familiar with the legend of the Dragon's Mane? The All-Father once traveled the earth, leaving behind strands of his hair. Apparently from these hair rose a people who were by all means stronger, smarter and longer-living than normal men."
His smile fades slightly as he says, "I am the last of those men."
Uther attempts to cast Genius on the King, but finds that he is exceptionally well armored in mind... could it be.. plot armor?!
(No mana was spent in light of this)
Uther's question brings him back to smiling terms. "The ritual has never been interrupted before and Ibun usually takes care of things... I'm not worried at the least."

(Seems to me like this guy is the dragon himself)
Re: Wizards!
Agrippa did intend to map out the roomS rather than just the rooM
. So if he can use any of the doors, he decides to carefully, without alerting anyone, sneak out and map out whatever area he can without being spotted. If he does get spotted, just put the salivating tongue out, roll the eyes and mumble "mahooogany" illegibly.

Re: Wizards!
And with that, the King notices that the day has gone dark, and claps his hands and sends you all back to your beds, chop chop. The return trip is a blur and the party, tired, collapses into their respective beds.
Meanwhile R'rud and the girls collapse in a tangled heap of females and pillows, all soundly asleep. Agrippa meanwhile is making low animal noises and wondering why everything is dark. His knowledge of the outside world confined to the immediate area around his table.
The day wasn't all wasted.. he did manage to map out the surrounding corridors and rooms, but the contents were not at all exciting. Pantries and store rooms and equipment cabinets..
Everyone is asleep except for Agrippa, who may have an extra role play session here or he may just curl up underneath the table to sleep to forward the day.

Re: Wizards!
Females make the best sort of pillows R'rud is thinking just before he drifts off to sleep.
Re: Wizards!
[Will be a few very busy days for me again]
After plundering whatever is of any use from the storage and equipment drawers Agrippa decides to return on his quest of finding mahogany...
He recalls a room where mahogany was especially strong, and, upon spending hours during the night to find it, he climbs into the bed with Vincent. Salivating tongue out and with wide open eyes he chants "Mahoooogannyyy" (not very sure how he can do that with tongue out, but he tries to anyway, he also makes sure that the drool drips right onto Vincent's ear). Not quite satisfied with the effect, Agrippa uses Raise (-20M) to create a zombie to join Vincent in his bed from the other side...

Re: Wizards!
*Uther dreams of a horde of beautiful females, dressed in the most beautiful clothes imaginable.
They ooze sensuality, sexiness, and smell of the finest perfumes imaginable.
Uther sees 7 thin cows, 7 fat cows, one of which is playing a trombone :-)
He also sees a pig dressed strangely in what looks like an evening gown cut to fit.
It's wearing lipstick, blusher, and huge false eyebrows.
Uther immediately ignores all the pretty girls and invites the pig to the Wizard's ball at the college of Magic, where he is the guest of honour.....
He will awake in the morning with some vague, disturbing memories and imagining the faint taste of pork on his tongue.*

Re: Wizards!
*Verincent props suddenly awake and starts relating*
Fellows! Get up! I have had the weirdest omen!
It came to me in a dream! A candle was burning in a dark room, wax dropping all over the place into nondescript dark pits, and men coming from said pits, ready to wield unlit torches to come at my lonely viewpoint. Their faces were still melting when I understood that these men were the wax themselves. Suddenly as more and more torches were lit I found out it was a room I was in, the wax creeping and moving over everything, over us, filling each nook and crannie.
*Verincent passes his hand through his ear, notices moisture*
*Turns on the bed, aghast, from the top of his lungs, hopefully waking all those that were not yet awoken, grabbing the attention of everyone in radius to these seemingly jolly individuals Verincent shares the bed with*
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. WHAT IS THIS I HAD NOT FORSEEN.

Re: Wizards!
Agrippa, puzzled, looks at Vincent, slams his hand over his mouth and forces him back onto the bed :
"Shush your worries, dumb wizard, your friends are having a quiet nap! Now go back to sleep and tell me where I can find the mahogany you smell of so much..."
Meanwhile the zombie, which was apparently a diseased woman, curls her arms around Vincent's shoulders in what one would call a hug if it wasn't for rotting flesh coming off her bones. With a quiet growl of a wind coming out of her lungs she tries to give him a kiss on the back of his shoulders...

Re: Wizards!
[Vetoing the raising of the zombie as you need a dead body lying around for the raise to work, otherwise good work. Carry on with your RP. The other players may opt to join if they deem Verincent's scream was loud enough to wake you up. If you can't be bothered, stay asleep.]
