Wizards!
Re: Wizards!
"If you refuse? If you refuse, well.. you won't be given the power and knowledge you have sought all your lives! Your lost, I suppose.."
Fenlander communes with the spirits of this desolate place, seeking for something which would speak to him, beseeching their wisdom.
"I am the Spirit of the Earth. I am the bones of the world, and the womb of the great unknown. I am He who Bears All Life... and my counsel is this.. the covenant you are to sign is not of this world, and its author not of this plane of existence. Tread wisely, Fenlander..."
Mordin, Verincent and Uther has one final post to confirm that they're signing the contract, while Fenlander has one post to tell his comrades the new information and act on it. So maybe the first three might want to hold off and wait for Fenlander to speak first, or if you really want that magnificent store of power then just go ahead and post that you're signing the contract.

Re: Wizards!
"Pfff, I've got lots of thyme. The rest of my life's worth of thyme. Besides, you listed three places to sign and I see none of them! Make a better pitch next time."
No signage for me.
No signage for me.
Re: Wizards!
Bloody spirits are bloody useless. I say we sign and damn the consequences. Worst comes to the worst we feed Uther to the inevitable soul sucking demon and scarper.
Re: Wizards!
I just have one last question: Can some of us sign it and some of us not?
Regardless of the answer I too agree to signing, but for instance, I would agree to carrying Andronicus (specially since that makes thyme drop out) if anything just for the curiosity of knowing what happens when you don't sign. Of course, everyone has the last word on their choice to sign or not sign if it's an individual thing, otherwise it's 4-1 in favor of signing...

Re: Wizards!
I know, get Uther to sign it and see how badly that ends up and then the less expendable members of the expedition can judge what to do.
Re: Wizards!
Also, how does resurrecting a party member work?

We'll get to that bridge when we cross it. You guys don't need to sign as a group, its a purely individual choice. I'll wait a bit on Mordin to see if he does intend on going through with signing before I move this along.

Re: Wizards!
A satanic healer sounds too funny to pass. I sign.

Ints kill nans, probes kill bombers.

<Uther would take exception to this, by the way, but his mind is currently filled with images of giving those guys from the college what for when the time comes.>

Re: Wizards!
Four of the party signs their contracts, and almost immediately they are filled with incredible arcane power! Santa's laugh rings in all of your ears, shaking the very foundations of the surrounding mountains...
And then...
*pop*
Everyone except Andronicus finds themselves in a valley of brimstone and fire, their powers suddenly restore to their normal states. Santa's grinning face could be seen in the burning sky and slowly fades out into the er... air.
Welcome to Hell. You have just lost your soul and your briefly earned magical power. While your starting abilities remain intact, some of them will not work in the underworld. You will have to find a way back to your world or remain damned for all time..
Here are Your Options:
1. Gibber about on your knees praying to some God to deliver you.
2. Yell, "Hail Santa!" and pledge yourself to the Triple Ho Cult.
3. Begin your accent through the Seven Circles of Hell to challenge Santa in a lute solo for your soul.
MEANWHILE, BACK IN DRAKONIA...
Andronicus is standing in the middle of the mountain pass all alone. Muttering to no one in particular he decides on his path..
1. Continue east to meet the dragon cult.
2. Go back and tell the College about what befell your colleagues.
3. Continue east but stop at the first village you arrive at... you need to figure out how to save your friends.
And then...

Re: Wizards!
Triple-Ho eh? I'm down with it.
Option 2:
"Hail my new dark overlord! May his sack be full, and his presents be nearly as disturbing as his presence!"
