So I ordered a Pro Micro and an MPU-9150 to try out the DIY Head Tracker for a tenner. I thought it would be interesting to try it out, plus I can use the MPU at work. Went for the MPU-9160 over the MPU-6050 because I might play with fixing yaw drift using the magnetometer myself. I'll be writing some magnetometer calibration code over the coming months at work anyway, so starting a bit at home will gain me a bit of credit, plus it is an interesting problem. The MPU is on the slow boat from China and won't get here till the end of May at the earliest though :(

Speaking of work, I've been spent this week getting Qt and OpenSceneGraph to work on Android. It has not been fun.

Sure :) I love simple soldering like this. I'd quite happily go and just solder pins to boards for an hour or two. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hmm, if we end up doing this, would you make me a firelight flicker circuit as well :)  I've been wanting one for a decade!

Yeah I could possibly do that. Did you have a specific project guide in mind?

Also I just saw your post regarding the flight model in ED. It's a shame what's-her-face hijacked it.

I think the message was well received despite the sudden explosion of epeen comparisons and pedantry.

A picture from the bridge of an Anaconda. The biggest "general purpose ship". It can be used as a big, fast freighter, or as a military corvette / support ship.

Pro Throttle is awesome!
My hands are too small for joystick manufacturers (throttle and Logitech joystick are a bit big for me).
Must fly with full throttle range, can't do that pushing a button for reverse malarky.
Need to find a way to change the button numbers, as the throttle is overriding my joystick buttons.

This game has peaked my interest. I'm probably going to get this later on.
