My lifter totally needs a redesign as there wasn't enough fuel to get me to orbit. I had to use half my RCS to get orbit, and then get it circular. It's a three stage rocket really, with the first stage being the bottom tank and asparagus linked thrusters. Second stage is just the second big orange tank and the third is the set above that.
It did the job in the end though. Here is the first part in orbit. I have a lander can, stow-away pod along with my docking ring and some communications antenna. I also chucked some lights on for ease of docking on the dark side. I also chucked a temperature and gravity sensor on there FOR SCIENCE! Temperature was reading ~ -40 though which I thought would be a bit unrealistic in the vacuum.
Next I might send up some small probes to practise docking, and work on my launcher. Next big part might be a fuel silo.
