My gaming schedule is pretty all over the place ATM so MP games are a bit difficult to arrange time for. What SP games should I be playing people? Anything that runs on Android would be a bonus because I intend to get a Nexus 10 soon

My latest SP game is Deus Ex: Human revolution. Graphic adventure combined with FPS. Pretty neat, kind of relaxing to play (there's just the level of action you want). I got it on Steam really cheap some weeks ago. It will probably be again on sale this christmas.

Its a lovely game to play through with a nice cyberpunk plot. It's obvious the dev.s loved the original - definitely worth a play through (watch out for sales - I got it for a fiver last sale).

Lost its way a bit in the last couple of acts - but still well worth playing.

Easier said than done sadly, I'm quite tempted to take the graphics card from my old and dying gaming PC and drop it into the HTPC and see how loud it is. Then add in an Xbox controller and I have a console of some sort.

The original XCom runs via DosBox Turbo on my tablet - and since it's 99% point and click you should be able to play it just fine with a touchscreen.

I play Civ 4 (with expansions) a lot. I often take part in the monthly semi-competitive game on the Civ fanatics forum here - http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=165. Basically everyone gets the same map to play, you have a month to play it and you submit your end game, and there is lots of discussion before and after the game on how it went, what strategies were used etc. and awards for the winners. I'm more often winning "Lowest score" awards rather than the winning ones, but having good fun nonetheless. It feels more involved (in a good way) than just playing random games of Civ 4.

Also, I just bought Arsenal of Democracy (based off Hearts of Iron 2) and Hearts of Iron 3 + expansions. The former should work on any old PC Rav, given the later one works fine on my beloved 5.5 year old machine. It's basically recreates WW2.

Gat Batman Arkham City cheap over christmas.

Kinda fun, but is pretty much Arkham Asylum Done Bigger.

I just played I Am Alive, which I bought during the Christmas sale. It's a really nice game, pretty awesome to me. The game is basically platforms style, with some parts of fps. The addition of stamina consumption while climbing makes the platform part more challenging. Also the scenarios are really well created, giving it a perfect post-apocalyptic feeling. The story and the flow of the game may be a little short, but they could as well just make another "campaign" continuing the storyline.

All in all, a really nice game, totally worth the mere 5€ it cost me during the sale! I played the storyline on easy in 4 hours, going to play it now on the hardest difficulty. It's not really difficult once you get used to the controls and the fights, but still ^^.

Did I already advertise the nostalgia trip called Legend of Grimrock? A cheapish Finnish game that brings back memories of Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder. It's really well done, and the difficulty is just right.
