Just because we're imperial doesn't make us supporters of Patreus :)

I actually haven't decided on which Imperial subfaction to support, it's all rather irrelevant to me just now.

The man's got style you can't deny it.

Being an explorer I'm sporting this look:

I actually love well done Sci-Fi fashion, and the pseudo-historical military pomp of the senator is very well done indeed.

If it's not just right, the slave responsible get neuro-whipped. :-\

Of course, nuero-whipping doesn't happen in the empire as it's against protocol. I hear it's very common in the sweat shops of the Federation on the other hand.

I'd quote the Imperial princess from the anti slavery community goal if I could find it. She should know, and she disagrees with the above quite a bit.

Look at the Federation. The girl’s never been of course. People die of starvation despite their crippling taxes. Is that what she wants, because it seems popular?

I'm seriously very curious about how this will play out. It sounded like there is room for 20 "Powers", only 10 of which will be claimed at start, and they can also fade and lose their position.

IMO they need to expand the system down to the lower levels, so that one can declare allegiance to any of the minor factions.
