CQC
CQC
So after an E:D hiatus caused by the failure of my joystick (my dodgy soldering didn't hold and I think it may be fully dead now) I'm back thanks to eBay supplying me with a replacement FF2.
I've been playing CQC and it's lots of fun isn't it? Partly because people who haven't played Allegiance don't sidethrust admittedly...
Anyone up for some games at some point? I bet an RT team would be awesome at CTF or TD.
I also think that it would be possible to remake Allegiance in CQC if Frontier could be persuaded to, and wouldn't that be a thing?

Re: CQC
Adding to the issues were as soon as we got near a game my kids kicked off big style.
I'm not sure how to join a squad and then play as a squad in one of the games? Or how to ensure that mics are working (they don't work in FFA Deathmatch).
As with a lot of E:D it's good ideas and gameplay surrounded in poor to no explanation and an unintuitive UI. It's still simpler than setting up a cup in Blood Bowl mind you.

Re: CQC
yes it is!So, I played a few games with liferbadger last week. You can join a game as a squad, but there is no guarantee that you play on the same team. You just end up in the same matches.
We might have to resort to Mumble...
