So, here's some really basic advice!!
- Use Q to mark enemies. Just point and click q. That will make them appear in the HUD and the minimap.
- While driving, press T to activate the third person view. Use the third person view until you get to combat to avoid running over team mates and getting stuck in buildings

.
- While taking off with a plane, use the spacebar and C to increase/decrease your altitude. Use this to lift off in highly crowded areas or near buildings. Then use A and D to turn around without spinning so you can point to the right direction. Really handy while flying Galaxies.
- Never try to get into a Sunderer from behind or the front to void being run over. Always use the sides

.
- You can shoot from inside out in a spawning room, but not from outside in. The explosions just outside the door will however damage people inside, so stay away from it!
- Never try to win a long range engagement with anything as NC. Maybe if you're in a tank you can do "something" but your real strength relies on close combat.
- Use your ability wisely. It may take a while to reload

.
- Medics can heal themselves with their ability (that also heals all friendlies in an area around you)
- You can use the jetpack on the light assault to jump from high cliffs or top of buildings and brake before landing to avoid taking damage. You can also use this to jump from a ship while flying.
- You take no falling damage if you jump from a Galaxy. AFAIK that doesn't depend on the altitude.
- Grenades have a bright red dot on them, so you can spot them if they are nearby. Needs practice though.
- Grenades are harder to use than they should. The first few you throw will more likely just kill you and some allies instead of going through that door to the room full of enemies. Pay attention to your grenade and prepare to run from it anytime you throw one!
- As engineer, never repair any vehicle from behind or the front. Always the sides!
- The missile launcher from the heavy assault is an awesome weapon against infantry as well, specially against engineer turrets.
- The medic can revive people by "healing" the corpse (point and shoot the weapon for a while). Try to revive team mates whenever you can if you're a medic or don't rush to respawn if there's a medic nearby.
- The heavy assault's shield has a little movement impairment while running or walking.
- If you play with non-lowest graphics, you can see a faint shadow where cloaked infiltrators are. Veterans can kill even cloaked people, so don't trust your cloak to be unbeatable!
- Infiltrators can hack enemy consoles and turrets by pointing and pressing E.
- You can overload shield generators by pointing and pressing E.
- Always run from cover.
- Always let that other guy go first.
- Tanks have less armor from behind and the sides. The difference is huge, to the point that a lighting will die with 2 shots from the back (sometimes even 1) and it'll take 4 or 5 from the front. The armor on the bottom is lowest, but it's hard to hit if you don't have mines. The top armor is also a little less, but not that much.
- Vanu and terran pilots tend to overuse their hovering abilities, so sometimes it's worth to shoot them a round of your tank gun! If you hit them, they die

.
- While assaulting a base, always take the spawn points outside first. They almost always have teleports that let you go inside and flank their main line.
- You can hit enemy ships with your instant action drop pod. That will kill you as well, so just decide if it's worth it to die in order to take out that full enemy galaxy! (you can also hit friendlies, so take care xD).
- You can change continents from a console in the warpgate or with instant action on the map.
I think that's all for now
