Ranked team members

Let's make a list of those that are interested in being part of the team, let's check how many we have and if we can set up one or two teams. Right now I'm listing those that posted on the other thread, just say it here if you're interested as well! Just give me your summoner name.

For those listed, tell me your favourite role and champions (at least 3 of them), as well as your current league (if you have one!).

This is the list of players (role, league, champions) and finally (name here) if not obvious . I'll update this with more info as available.

-Koln IV (Support, Gold V, Leona, Taric, Thresh)
-EtNihilus (Top/Mid, Silver V, Fizz, Morde, Garen) (Memento)
-WelshGandalf (Support/Top, Sona/Nami  -  Teemo/Singed)
-FazzBumm (Jungler/adc, Silver V, Cait, Amumu)
-Phantom032 (Adc/mid, placement matches, lots of champs).
-Grav (Mid/top, Silver V, Jarvan, Pantheon, Cass, etc)

That is 5 already, so we could already play at some point . I expect as well grav, bernini and others to join up, and if we're accepting people I may tell Lau or Seizer to join us and then join the teams .

So we need to get everyone on a role and then we can do some practice in normal games ^^. I insist we need as well a captain to make the decisions!

I am hereby quitting ranked solo/duo games until April. After the excitement of the qualifying games, I have lost 6 or 7 in a row - been paired with ak'ers, idiots, whiners, suiciders, people who moan for wards then die to ppl who were spotted because of them, ppl who whine for wards WHEN THERE ARE PLENTY, people raging because of their own deficiencies, some more afkers, ppl who don't know how to last hit, ppl who say "gg" when they die once....

I cannot believe I am in Silver 4 (was Silver 5). Seriously? There are FIVE LEAGUES of worse players beneath this?

I am silver 5 (working on it), prefer top or mid (Fizz/Morde/Garen).

I guess it is not necesary to say, though, I can do every role adequately.

Memento added ^^. Btw after all this time I guess most of us can do any role adequately, that doesn't mean we don't have a preferred role in which we're better! ^^.

Pic a role Fazz, or 2 of them tops, listing you with such a generic option is the same as not doing it :p.

I can jungle Amumu too but there's no point saying that since he is banned every time :p

Agree with Koln - pick a position or 2 to specialise in. Preferably not support as Koln + me have already mentioned :p

Grav plays too but I'm not sure how active he is on this forum.

In terms of a leader - yeah I agree it's good to have someone competent to yell orders. I'd say you or Phantom as I think you're our better players but I think Phantom has more of the personality for it.

Well then i will focus on what we need:

AD-Carry: Cait, Ashe, Graves, Vayne
Jungle: Amumu, Shen, Nocturne, maybe i buy another jungle champ, dunno who are best jungler at the moment, maybe heca...

Btw we should try to firstpick good champs and have ppl ready to play them like amumu or shen ...

btw firstpick should either be really OP champs if they arent banned OR adc/support that cant be hardcountered. Definitely not a "strong champ" that could be countered.

I guess we all have to get Amumu, Draven, Taric and Leona to have for first picks.

Edit: Also, Fazz, you are probably right that Hecarim is the best jungler right now, but I would say Vi is a VERY strong jungler. Very potent ganks.

also thought about Vi, she is very strong, also deals tons of damage with pure tanky build. I think i will buy Heca or Vi for our team and train them.

I have played neither of these, but hecarim is so fast I would prefer him

I will save up IP for now to buy champs to trade once we have decided - while I own nearly all AP/AD carries and supports I own very little tanks/tanky dps at the moment.

I just came back today from an excursion with the Uni, will update this tomorrow ^^.

I updated the list.

So now we have 5 persons! We should at least play some normal games on draft mode to see how we work together, and default roles I'd propose are:

-Me support
-Gandalf top
-Mem mid
-Fazz jungle
-Phantom adc

Ofc default means that we try to play those but we can change them at any given time ^^. It'd be great if we could specialize on our own role, but changing once in a while doesn't hurt and helps everyone to avoid getting tired of the game .

Now, some things we need to take care of:

-Captain: do you agree? who should it be? What I had in mind was basically choose him every game on the fly, like we do/did in allegiance, but having a fixed one would also work.

-When to play? I prefer some time in the weekend afternoons or just a week day at night. We need to choose.

-Who plays? Now we're 5 only, but some may want to join and we will have to discuss this later .

Btw I don't know if you saw seizer's post in the Guest's hall. He's my best friend and plays a really good jungle. I say we consider accepting him as RTer and then have him at least as a replacement .
