Season 7 Predictions Thread

I'm way behind on the spreadsheet but I will definitely have some time tomorrow.

The title is going down to the last day of the season. An Everglade loss coupled with a 13th Doomwheel win gives the title to the Skaven, else the Wood Elves will be walking away with their first (non-shared) league title. In the other match, Gertrude & co are attempting to break the record for most casualties inflicted in a league season.

Rats to win, Welves to bore-win and Ducklingz-Halfingz in a score draw (for a win on the pools) with IbrahimavOrc failing to score when there's no Halflings, or trees, or ineligible players (Yes Zara, I'm looking at you) left on the pitch to stop him.

This would require the orcs to invest their energies in the ball rather than seeking to punch the opposition... I can't see that happening!

Why these claims of wood elves being boring? It's not like they always win, or that they score in a boring manner, or that they rarely score at all. I'm assuming it's jealousy.

Clearly you've played the wood elves well this season (and however many they've played in before). Of the 7 games this season, two have been close (the 3-2 win and 1-2 loss), one medium (3-1) and the others massacres (3-0, 4-0, 5-0, 6-0). Scoring isn't everything though - they're so good that its hard for them to score a really spectacular touchdown - a bit like watching Man U roll over a village team. If you want to be more exciting, for the final game you could bench the wardancers and play the tree as a lone wide receiver. If only you'd had the foresight to give him diving catch... ;-)

The 3-1 was really close, the 3rd was in the last turn and came as a result of a failed pass that would've made it 2-2.

Well naturally I would've given Bee Tiered diving catch, but I haven't rolled a double on him. Seriously though I think people would find it a bit insulting if I tried to score with the tree.

Hambridge Archers - Orkly Ducklingz 2-1 to the Archers. There's a pitch clearance but it's the Orcs all getting sent off for fouling the Treemen (one of who has +mv which is amazing!)
