Re: Dice roll types
The match?
Re: Dice roll types
Interesting (& relevant, to BBDB) fact....
When an agility roll is failed by rolling a 1, the log records something like
DUM #14 Mister Nutz! Dodge {AG} (4+) : 1 Critical -> Failure
This means you cannot easily tell what roll was required (ie modifiers such as tackle zones are not shown)
However, if a non-agility D6 roll is failed by rolling a 1 you get something like this....
DUM #02 Skeleton King Really Stupid (4+) : 1 + 2 {Team-Mates} = 3 -> Failure
...so you DO get to see the modifiers! Hurrah for Cyanide.

Re: Dice roll types
Things that affect armour and/or injury rolls
Mighty Blow, Stunty, Thick Skull, Niggling Injury, Piling On (these show up in the log but not always in an easy-to-analyse fashion)
Chainsaw, Dirty Player, Foul Assists (these all show up clearly in the log)
Sneaky Git is sort-of related too.
Is this a complete list?

Claw. (cheating)
And the actual foul itself.
Stab?
Titchy?

Stab?
Titchy?
Re: Dice roll types
Claw... of course....
Stab just means "ignore the armour roll" - same as a crowd surf.
Screw implementing stakes. I've got enough work to do with skills that people actually use....
Foul doesn't do anything I don't think... it's just an armour roll if there is no dirty player or assists.
I don't think Titchy does anything. (blood bowl rulebook is blocked at work so I can't check)

Re: Dice roll types
I've used stakes this season... In my games vs Id3 and Moose if you want to check the logs for it. It's a niche case as only Zara has the skill, but she's common enough on a halfling team that it crops up. More than pass block or shadowing at least
Titchy doesn't affect the injury roll, I had to check but it's only concerned with dodges.
