What do you mean "the most experienced team in RTBBL history"?

Take a look in BBDB - they have played more games than any other team.

I think I'm going to do a Gandalf on you (I hope you don't mind) and say that I think that is more accurate. They may have played the most games, but:
  • they are still 40 touchdowns behind the Everglade Wanderers (so at least 120 spp);
  • in terms of TV they are mid table.

Or you could say they are the most experienced because they have experienced losing more than the Wanderers...

That BBDB has to be inaccurate though; I can't see why the Feebles have played the most matches.

They never even have decent cup runs.

Lots of friendlies? Also winning things is bad for getting games because you have to take a year off. If you excel at mediocrity then you'll get more games in.

That's why I thought it might be the Ducklings with the most 'Experience'...

Also yes, I would be keen on playing Skaven.

I used "most experienced" in the real world sense not the blood bowl sense of XP. eg you would call a player who had played 500 football matches more experienced than one who had played 300 matches. But sure I accept there was ambiguity in my phrasing. "Total XP" might be a nice column to add to the advanced view - all the detail is there... touchdowns, interceptions, passes and casualties caused, the only inaccuracy is that you'd have to assume 1 MVP award per match played, which sometimes isn't the case. If you do that for the 5 teams who have played 30+ games you get...
Everglade Wanderers: 627 (of which Ernie has over a sixth)
Fables! : 454
Orkly Ducklingz: 416 (albeit 6 games less than Fables)
The Mighty Undercheesers: 398
Pinewood Carrions: 370

That BBDB has to be inaccurate though; I can't see why the Feebles have played the most matches.

They never even have decent cup runs.

In terms of the number of matches played and the W/D/L of the team, BBDB is very accurate. :) eg it says Feebles have played 36 games and that "Mister Dark" the Wight has played 36 games. Load up Blood Bowl, look at his team and the lifetime stats, you will see Mister Dark has played 36 games.

Of course BBDB doesn't have every team in it, but I don't think there are any teams who haven't played in the last 2 seasons (or associated friendlies) who have played 30+ games.

Spinx's Dwarves would be my only guess for a long running team not in BBDB. He player 3 or 4 seasons with them iirc.

Righto.

Anyway; if Idan plays then I'll do my best to play too; might have a few matches to schedule midweek but it'd be nice to have a 10 team league wouldn't it?

I'll either bring back the Ducklingz (NJ has first choice over Orcs this season) or try out the newly formed 'Protest to Percy's ridiculous Pacifism' Dwarf team of specialist Percy Hunters and all round Bostin' good blokes the Black Country Bruisers.

Sweet.

Well chaps, if you want to start on Sunday let me know your team name by Friday and I'll generate a schedule for us.

Bring back the ducklings if you wish.

I'll stick with the elves I guess

I'll go with the Lizards... Anyone want a friendly this week? I'm pretty much always available, so choose a date.
