Moved from "Blood Bowl Resources" - I felt this needed a thread of its own.

Percy was that sad he mentions it on his Podcast

EXCLUSIVE

But yeah, bummer that it's gone.

Massive hole for an online results database system now though... if only someone was working on one...

If this were 6 months down the line then I might want to publicise BBDB as an alternative. However there are just too many things lacking.... bugs, scalability, log-on system, security... to go mass market just yet.

I'm just glad-ish I went through a lot of old games from BBM and uploaded them, so at least we have season 6 and 7 there, further back than that though we just have what's on the forum (records thread etc). I'm also glad that BBDB basically works, so RTBBL can carry on without too much difficulty.

Yeah, it's sweet you started BBDB when you did so we still have something.

I know BBDB isn't ready yet; but it's in a good place so far dude :) I know you wouldn't want BBDB going out live for all to play with; but just the notion that there's someone out there making something that is (potentially? I think you previously said it would be) open source for all to use is a dope thing :)

What's worst I think is that no one could download the huge record of games before it went :(

Such stats :(

I have some percentages of wins/losses etc from a couple of years ago where there was... over 250,000 games?

Does anyone have a Sons of the Silver Sword game in their replays folder? They're the only team missing from BBDB.

I think the answer is almost certainly yes (given that they are my team). BBDB takes all sorts of files, but the only ones I have are in the form "Replay_2015-0X-XX_XX-XX.db". What do I need to do with it/them? Just upload one file, or all of them?

You need to watch the replay in BB and then submit the files like you would after a normal game.

Ah, ok. Tedious but simple.

I don't know if there are any other season 5 teams missing? I only uploaded the final from the cup, it was a nice way to get two historically significant teams into BBDB.

Rav correctly describes how to get old games in. If you want to upload more than 1, start with the earliest. If you only want to put one in, then put the latest game in (which was them vs Team Shrek in season 5 cup quarter final I think... June 7th).

Also - let me know before you upload & I can open up season 5 cup again so you can upload to it, or create a season 5 league.

I only spotted they were missing because I sorted teams by race and noticed that High Elves weren't represented.
