They did, the league didn't update, I'm working on it, for more details see the bug thread in the BBDB forum.

edit : worst case scenario is that it will just update after the next upload to the league.

See the BBDB forum, I uploaded the game but it's not showing in the table for some reason. Gandalf will fix it when he has time.

Weeeellll 2-0 to the Skaven in a very tactical match...

http://gandalfgames.net/bbdb/matchdetai ... tch_id=154

I can't do much of a report as I have to get off to bed, sorry, but the Skaven turned over the gobbos in the first half and scored safely in turn 8, and then spent the whole second half scoring so as to get both stormvermin levelled up.

Able Seaman Wensleydale got his neck broken again, and the stupidest troll ever spent half the game really stupiding and then ate a goblin.

It was a good game!

Lizards vs Ogres
3-0
http://gandalfgames.net/bbdb/matchdetai ... tch_id=153

Lizards kick... By the end of turn 3 for Gandy, his agility 4 ogre rolled 4 bone heads, so the lizards managed to block him, get the ball and score the 1st touchdown on turn 4. The lizards also had brilliant block dice, which made the game a bit one sided. 1st half ended 1-0.

Lizards did have a moment of terror in the 2nd half when Big Mountain, Krox and great guy all around, got injured and lost one movement. Luckily he made a miraculous recovery, and got back to the game.

Otherwise with a big players advantage throughout the 1nd half, the lizards managed to score 2 more.

I had all the luck in my favor, so I predict some horrible dice on the 1st cup game against the orcs.

Skaven vs Gobbos: 2-0 for the Skaven, cementing them as the #1 position, knocking the Gobbos out of Cup qualification (via sheer resilience), and affirming the gobbos as last place for the season I believe.

Pivotal moment of the game was.... a bit of a subtle mistake on my part. Skaven were a bit scared of my 3 big guys (2 trolls, Ripper). Gobbos made headway with a cage. Then, gobbos were presented with an early in the drive (turn 3-4): advance forward and sacrifice next turn's defenses by doing a gobbo cage instead of a Big Guy cage and go for a high% leap-play... or grind forward with the Big Guys which was working 'all right' so far. Instead Gobbos advanced forward with a gobbo cage but I misclicked and they didn't advance forward enough, making the Leap play unavailable! So the Big Guy defense was sacrificed for no reason. The rats attacked from every which way and the next turn was a catastrophe... Gobbos went down everywhere and Big Hand Gutter Cheesery got in position to steal the game. Pretty much sealed the gobbos' fate.

Rats were really resilent, too; Musta been like 8+ MB Piling Ons vs AV7 with no results. Most of the rat casualties came late in each respective half, doing diddlysquat in terms of importance to the game.

Skeleton King ate a goblin in protest of his coach's depressing playbook.

Good game, law!

My luck overall wasn't that bad. It's just the all-too-familiar utter fail in the first few turns. I was set for a decent cage in your half on turn 2 if he hadn't double-oned a bonehead, which would've at least made it interesting.

2 fouls resulting in nothing but 2 sending-offs didn't help either. But other than that, I think luck was fairly even. Oh and the blasted MVP didn't go on one of the 9 players who could've levelled up with it.

The Undead Derby
Necromantic vs Undead
4 - 0

http://gandalfgames.net/bbdb/matchdetai ... tch_id=156

A network connection failure at turn seven of our first game meant we had to restart. Despite us both Alt + F4ing Moose got some level ups and I got all my MNG players back. The second attempt at a game felt very different as a result.

We bashed and boshed in a very violent match, but ultimately I think my spread of Mighty Blow and Claw won me the game. 2 - 0 at half time, with Moose's best Wight injured off, and then I think by the second drive of the second half Moose was down to Mummies and rookie players.

Well played though Moose, and thanks for sticking around to try again tonight.

Congrats to Idanmel on his glorious victory!

And to Abom on his splendiferous wooden spoon claiming! It was touch and go there, but you've beaten me to the honour. By, er, 1 on touchdown difference. We were tied on both points and casualties!!

Rumour has reached Yellow Tiger of an underground, shadow winner-takes-all trophy to be won. Clearly 8 of the 10 teams in the league will be too busy to fight it out for this honour...

The player awards have been dished out! (in a highly automated fashion, yay). Some highlights...

Captain Vintage Cheddar is a Gutter Runner who won 3 1st place awards and a runner up for most catches. A spectacular season from him.
The Thin White Duke the +AG elf thrower picked up three passing awards.
Two of the three "most knockdown" awards went to ogres, however they were no good at converting them into injuries. Instead it was another Skaven - the Stormvermin by the name of Vice Admiral Stilton who took the top place in most knockdowns and most injuries caused. Poor Gertrude had to make do with a runner-up prize in injuries caused, to go with his/her two awards from last year.
Ogres took top spot for most meters thrown and 2nd top scorer with the Agility 4 freak. However if I'm going to highlight one member of the Ogre team, Queen Lilian who came from nowhere to take runner-up in the most knocked-down category with 16. She was knocked down an incredible 6 times in her match today (including a lightening bolt), was KO'ed 3 times and kept coming back from more. Wow. In a similar vein, Faq the Pouch finished his season with 4 straight injuries to take joint-top in the most injured category.

(when I linked to all the players I got an error message, but when I took out the links to some of them, it let me post it. Weird)

The Bowie destruction started so well, Percy and Co hurt off the AG5 vomit inducer and then the levelled up leaping catcher vomit inducer, adding about 5 elves to the KO box after the elves made the crowd vomit by scoring in turn 2.

The the orcs went soft and couldn't hurt any more AV7 with MB and Piling On... What can I say, we like Bowie.

Sidestep was a right pain in the arse too.

Then PirlOrc and Steve BullOrc got all fan boy and fainted when they got too close to Ziggy. Although the crowd loved it and gave PirlOrc MVP, making him level 6.

Overall the entertainment of the ladz inability to hurt anything was added to by Bowies doing some bad ass side stepping dance moves and then throwing the ball at the floor right by their own feet.

Oh, and Percy spent over half the match being Stupid, bless him.

Congrats on winning the league Idan, and on getting an easy route into the cup semi final.

No worries. I only said Wednesday so that there would be a good chance everyone had done it by Saturday night when I was planning on sorting out the Cup seeds.
