Yes Clive - I'm not sure how it happened, but the poor linerat Able Seaman Babybel, who I've just seen killed, has just had his neck broken too! Both in the first block of the game!

edit: bugger, I didn't alt f-4 out of the second dropped game because it said something different and it's given me the admin 2-0 win. Can we have an admin reset?

We would have been able to try again if I hadn't done that, but I'm not sure if moose's internet would have let us.

I don't think I can reset the match sorry. I've not validated it yet so if you were to replay the game using Direct Connection the result could be manually added.

MarS Spider 5-2 Team Shrek

I'm not going to try and summarize this one too hard. I started by kicking but the Ogres fumbled the pickup so I ran in and nicked it off them and ran away to score. 1-0

Second drive was the Ogres collection deep and making a pass across Eldril (he failed a dodge during his pass block) and running it home. 1-1

Then there was a standard 2 turner from the Elves. 2-1

Then a one turner from the Ogres. 2-2

Then it was halftime.

In the second Gandalf got a Blitz so my plan to hold the ball deep in my half was thwarted. I moved it forward and got it to a blitzer who failed a GFI on the line. THe ball went to the Ogres but I eventually broke it free by pushing an Ogre off the pitch and got the TD. 3-2

Then I kicked deep, got a Blitz and charged up to pressure the ball. I got it free by uphill 2d blocking and scored. 4-2

Then I scored again somehow. Don't know how. 5-2

Was a good fun game and I suggest you watch the replay.

There were also 9 passes (6-3 to elves), a blitz each, and about 6 quick snaps. A great way for the Ogres to sign off (apart from you killing my star snotling and -1ST to my ogre thrower...). Very entertaining! You had a run of ones in the first half, that along with the flukey OTT meant the game wasn't decided until 4-2. Good luck versus the lizards!

Look at him... 5 consecutive injuries... and almost every time his armour gets broken, he got injured. I dunno if he had a secret niggling injury, or he was just suicidal. Either way, he was pretty useless this season. At least he went out with an award, to immortalise his deeds of awfulness.

Lizards 2 - 0 Orcs

Lizards got more lucky... The dice might not show it, but I got the good dice exactly when I needed them.

In the first half, the orcs started with the ball, and as soon as they fumbled it about halfway inside my half, a skink picked it up, handed if off to another skink who than ran as far away from any orc possible. I managed to delay my touchdown until the last turn pf the half. 1-0.

2nd half I don't remember well... We were fighting in the middle of the field, somehow I broke loose and score at about turn 14.

1 saurus, 2 black orcs, and 3 skinks were injured during the game

Can you play a direct connection game with a team in a cup? I don't know.
