Ooh, super! Yes, 8-8:15 would be fine.
Re: RT BBL Season 9
Finally!
The Podcasters got their crap together at last and got up in the faces of the Undead early on. Percy KO'd a Mummy on the first move of the game and from that point on the Norse had the numbers. The initial kick was deep and failing to pick up at first meant a slow progression up the pitch. I trundled up the left widezone and surfed a Zombie to Badly Hurt. Percy then got another casualty against a skeleton. It was easy to get the ball within scoring distance but I opted to stall until turn 8 to avoid the Mummy coming back. The only notable event being my Ulfwerener getting killed by a Mummy but luckily I passed the Apo roll. By the end of the half RL had a Mummy, a Zombie and 2 Skeletons left. It was harsh.
In the second half I kicked short and RL opted to collect the ball and pass it back to his ghoul. I got round his diminished line and cut off the ghoul from the rest of the team. I took the ball and scored.
Another short kick and again I had the manpower to split the Undead from the ball and their ball carrier. A double skull from Percy lost me a trun so I couldn't go for a 4th TD without a Blitz and I didn't get it. Final score: 3-0
I had the benefit of an almost complete team and RL was hamstrung by his lack of ghouls. Losing players early on made it a very one sided game but it was fun for me at least.

It was fun for me too! But not very winnable. Fortunately the Nurgle are up next. (!)
Re: RT BBL Season 9
Yeah! Instead of the team you're facing having 8 players with block, you'll be facing one where 6 have block and 2 have wrestle! Easy street.
Oh, also 500k of inducements. Morg vs No Entry sounds like an epic fight.

Abom Gobbos vs Idan Amazons - Recap (might be a bit misremembered)
A somewhat bloated, but fully stocked gobbo team takes on 12 'zons. The amazons get some inducements, meaning no bribe money for the gobbos. Amazons take wizard and some budweisers.
Bombardier is put on the front lines by himself. He's immediately KO'd and sent off the pitch, never to be seen again.
In the first half, the goblins trip all over themselves. Gobbos smell blood! They go to try to mark the ball or its carrier which sort of seems in reach but.... they just keep tripping.
They're able to make some headway because at this point their coach just assumes they're utterly useless so he makes safer plays and waits till the end to make a hail mary play (it rarely ever gets to the point where the fun play can happen). But even worse than the goblins tripping is the trolls just standing around doing nothing. Idan fireballs some 3 goblins, using his wizard.
Amazons go easily down one side of the pitch. The goblins try a haphazard defense that fails miserably. Amazons score on like turn 4 or 5.
Goblins then make some headway, marching steadily down the field with the fanatic moving 3-5 squares at a time. But for 2 straight turns he just kind of goes the utterly wrong direction and ends up right back where he started, making the cage's slow march useless. Gobbos are forced to go for a risky play and fail miserably.
1-0 for the amazons at halftime
Goblins receive. They cage up... an army of green (like a 7 person cage instead of a 5 person cage) Idan wishes he still had fireball. He puts some amazons off to the sides. This may have either been a greedy play, confident enough he'll be able to break the goblin cage and then hand it off to them for a quick score... or he was hoping to attack the cage from the rear, having many angles to work with.
On like turn 8, gobbos say screw this, we're not going to wait around for our cage to be broken and die a miserable death! Today, we are regular Dummies and not Punch Dummies! They wake up one of their trolls. Pudge the Troll remembers he's actually playing a game of Blood Bowl and not counting clouds and picking daisies. He throws the ball carrier, who lands neatly near the end zone without having to GFI. Goblins score... Game is tied!

"Today, we are regular Dummies and not Punch Dummies!" - some Goblin
Ball is kicked to 'zons! Amazons form a partial cage and send some girls into the sides of the pitch again. The 'zons fail to pick up the ball...
The gobbos smell blood again! The Punch Dummies go for wins, not ties! This time, the ball is in reach. Goblins mark every amazon they possibly can. As the final move of the turn they send a heroic Side Step gobbo through 3+ tackle zones and 2 GFIs... He runs... he dodges... he winks at the crowd... and picks up the ball!
Idan has a 'zon by the ball... Probably a thrower or catcher. He thinks to use a out-of-the-way blitzer, better at blocking, to blitz the gobbo... but the block fails and the gobbo Side Steps away! This was a crucial moment, because Idan likely should have blocked with the thrower first and then blitzed the gobbo, leading to two 2-dice blocks and almost surely a grounded goblin. The gobbo scores! 2-1 for the gobbos!
Gobbos take their first win in many months and their first win of the season!
tl;dr: Trolls standing around doing nothing, goblins tripping over themselves, Amazons knocking out goblins but goblins having large reserves, goblins being thrown, a Side Step hero wins the day
Will upload the game later!

No problem! Yeah, I can play during the week. How's Wednesday sound?
Re: RT BBL Season 9
Shining that Id can't play due to fatherhood, do you want to play a friendly Abom?
Re: RT BBL Season 9
Beth and baby are still in hospital over night, but will be home tomorrow so probably best to assume I can't make it tomorrow.

Re: RT BBL Season 9
I'm not sure if I'll be available for tomorrow, but I'll post (hopefully) at least an hour before gametime if I will be.
I've also got to figure out what team I'd create for a friendly. Mebbe Ogre, Underworld, or Khorne.
Or a 2ndary goblins team because I'm masochistic.
